The order you are referring to was scheduled to be shipped before January 7, as stated in your order confirmation, and it was dispatched on January 6. Please note that we were closed for the holidays until January 5, as is common for many businesses during this period, and this was communicated in advance. The delay in delivery is due to severe winter weather conditions in the Netherlands, including heavy snowfall, which caused many shipping companies to suspend operations or work with limited capacity last week. These circumstances have significantly affected parcel movement and are unfortunately beyond our control. Information regarding these disruptions is publicly available, and this is not an excuse but the reason for the delay. Dear Marcus, Thank you for your review - as it has been annountced on the website all our stuff was on Winter Break from December 22nd until January 5th and your order was placed on 22nd of December after 7PM so we could not ship your order during our holiday sand it was shipped first thing after holidays. Dear Kurt, Thank you for your review but I find it misleading. Order was placed on December 20th 8PM, and shipped on December 22nd when it was our last day for shiping this year. I hope you understand that during Christmas deliveries are suspended and in many EU countries they are not allowed to drive the trucks so your parcel was delivered on 3rd business day from moment it was shipped. I would consider this a decent delivery time for Christmas period and would not rate business with 3* because of the fact delivery services are working with maximum capacity but have their limitations during this period. Dear Chantal, I understand your frustration about not receiving the parcel on time but let me clarify here that we are not the forwarder and can't give 100% guarantee it will be on time especially when you order for Christmas delivery hoping it will reach you on time. You placed your order on December 17th 10:52PM and we shipped it out on December 18th 12:20PM besides the fact it was mentioned on the product that estimated dispatch time fo rthis item is (19 Dec, 2025 to 24 Dec, 2025) We reacted fast and shipped the item even the day before estimated dispatc time but delivery services have been overloaded with parcels for last minute orders and we never promised delivery on time for Christmas and even had notification on the webiste that delays migh happen. In this case I would appreciate your onderstanding not posting 1* reviews anonymously for soemething we can't take full responsibility. We work hard to ship all on time and this was done with your order too. Simple Bike Stere Team
