Complete lack of info as regards delivery ETA. Very high transport costs.

Thanks for the feedback Graham. We’re sorry that you were unsatisfied with the delivery process. Given the nature of the products we are delivering it is not always possible to provide an ETA, but we always do our utmost. Unfortunately, on this occasion the haulier didn’t inform us. I have reviewed your completed delivery questionnaire which said you were open from 8am. So, from the haulier’s perspective, when he arrived at 8.30am he didn’t envisage a problem. Please rest assured that we have taken your comments on board and our Sales Manager will be liaising with the haulier in question.

Was sold a 8ft x 20ft cabin cut in half rather than a used 10ft x 8ft cabin as written in the quotation and sold over the phone. Cabin is missing proper lifting point at the rear, therefore isn't safe to lift. This should have been made clear during the purchasing process. Extra money has been spent for a fabricator to correctly weld adequate lifting points on the cabin. Asked for a certificate of conformance, was told this wasn't something they supply.

Hi Scott, Thank you for your positive feedback regarding our enquiry and delivery processes. Customer service is our greatest priority. As such, we are sorry to hear that your container did not meet your expectations. We have therefore taken your feedback on-board and amended our quotation process to ensure we give a more accurate description of the unit being purchased. However, it did state clearly on your quotation that you would be purchasing a 10ft container that had been converted in-house. The quote clearly stated that the unit would not be suitable for loaded lifting unless retested. Had the lifting points not been adequate for non-loaded lifting, the unit would not have been able to be lifted onto the truck and delivered to you. However, we recognise that we can make this more explicit on future quotations and have made amendments thanks to your feedback. Lastly, the unit would not be eligible for a certificate of conformance unless re-tested. Kind regards S Jones Containers

Unfortunately my experience was not a good one. My delivery did not come on the scheduled day and when it finally arrived the next day the containers were not what I had ordered. The order had to go back and sent out later that day. Thankfully the man I dealt with was very apologetic and concerned about the problems we had. I was told I would get a phone call on Monday to discuss the problems as the errors have cost me.... I have not received a phone call.

Exceptional customer service is our primary focus and priority and we regret that on this occasion this ideal was not achieved. We worked with our customer, and haulier and depot, to rectify the error in question and the correct units were delivered later on the same day. The promised phone call was delayed due to our need to speak further with our depot. Although we should have kept our customer informed the phone call was made very soon after and we understand from them that they are wholly satisfied with the overall outcome and are likely to order further containers from S Jones in the future. Although we cannot control all events, we do work tirelessly to ensure our customers are cared for.

Convoluted process with same information given numerous times regarding delivery and collection. Multiple invoices sent through errors on your system.
