About Royce Lingerie:

Royce Lingerie is the world’s only wirefree bra specialist.

They make non-wired bras for everyday comfort; for pregnant women and breast-feeding mums; for teens; for sport and for women who have had breast or chest surgery.

The company was established in 1991 and continues to be run as a family business. The first design was a nursing bra and the business has gone from strength to strength ever since with five different categories in the range today. Royce has always made bras without wires, as they provide so much comfort, whilst offering the best support and fit.

All Royce bras are designed in the UK, from the first concept all the way through to the finished garment. The bras range from a triple A through to an L cup, which requires skill and expertise to ensure the bras are supportive whilst looking great too.

After the initial design phase, sample machinists make up the garments, which are then fitted on real women for testing, to get the style and fit right. Technology has changed over the years, but the care that goes into every garment remains the same.

“Unfortunately the bra I wanted did not fit in my usual sizes and after having to send 2 bras back I have spent almost £8 on postage with no bra to show for it as you don't have other sizes in the bras I was looking for. Have been in email contact with staff from Royce with offer to waive the postage costs on the next bra I buy from Royce. I probably won't be buying online again as can't trust the sizing.”

“I was so excited to receive my parcel of a 34D (Grace)bra. But oh dear so bitterly disappointed when I tried It on. I had spoken with Avery nice lady to make sure of fitting size but I could not fasten the band at all,supposed to be 30” and the cup size was huge I thought there may have been a mistake and I returned the item. I should have put in a note explaining the oddity of th shape but only ticked the boxes band to tight and cup to big. I thought I might have heard from you but this is the first communication(a general request) I have had. Since then I have purchased 3 bras 34D from another company all of which fit perfectly. I was so pleased to have found a British company but my experience has not been as I would have wanted.”

“The wedges caused my skin to come out in a rash and irritated me. I was upset as was post op and was concerned I had an ear infection when the rash came out!”

“Sorry, but I so wanted a comfort bra that also accommodated my E cup boobs. Seems an impossible request. This bra was well reviewed, but it offered no support and the largest cup size offered was inadequate. If you have any suggestions I am all ears! ( also overlarge )”

Hi Susan, The Comfi-bra you ordered only goes up to a DD cup which would not provide the support you need if you're an E cup. We would suggest trying our Grace bra which has a high cotton content like our comfi-bra but a firmer support. Alternatively if you click on 'comfort bras' on our website you can filter by cup size. If you select E this will show you the full range of bras available in an E cup. Kind regards Claire

“The Maisie bra initially seemed that it would be comfortable after a lumpectomy as it was very padded, however within a couple of days the band underneath the breast curled up and the seam under the breast rubbed along my scarring and it became too uncomfortable to wear. I’ve not been able to wear it since. I wish I’d taken notice of someone else’s review I’d seen that mentioned it did this. Would not recommend this bra.”

“This bra was bought for a teen friend of mine but unfortunately it wasn’t a hit. She said it’s well-made using nice material but unfortunately it barely covers the nipples and so they keep popping out! This is both annoying and uncomfortable. Both bras are therefore unwearable which is disappointing given the price. Very disappointed!”

“Disappointing up to what it used to be. Bras of apparently the same style and size have varying band lengths. My old favourite is available in my size only in white and the one I ordered as the same size as my old one was a very poor fit. However, at least it was free return and full refund.”

“I ordered 2 different bras, neither of which fitted and although both 34DD, they were different sizes and different bandwidths to each other. I did go through the website bra fitting details before ordering. I was hoping for good results in view of other peoples' reviews, but sadly not for me. I have returned both for a refund.”

“Bra was featured with pads, but it subsequently appeared not to be part of the purchase. found fabric to be flimsy. Disappointed with my purchase. Had laundered the bra prior to trying it on, unable to return. For this particular purchase I will give a 6.”

I am sorry to hear you are not fully satisfied with your purchase. With our Silver Post Surgery Bra, the images used were to show that it can hold a prosthesis however I can understand that the images may be misleading.
