About Relentless Microcement:

Richie and Sally, the founders of Relentless Interiors first identified a potential market for concrete interiors whilst they were renovating their own house back in 2015.

Having been inspired by the emerging concrete interiors trend, they we’re surprised to find that there were very few companies offering concrete products in the UK. After some extensive research, they discovered microcement and set about getting some training from a supplier in Spain.

Fortunately, Richie’s previous experience in concrete production, plastering and rendering meant he was well suited to the work involved. Sally, who’s background is in marketing, set about building the Relentless brand.

A few years on and the product offer has grown considerably to include concrete furniture, worktops, sinks, walls, floors and microcement supplies. Richie and Sally’s drive to constantly expand their offer and develop new products means they continue to stay in tune with interior & architectural trends.

The couple have built a reputation for having a genuine, helpful and friendly approach to industry professionals and homeowners alike.

“I didn't find that the sample tablets had any colour relationship tothe colour chart, and the "sparkle " one was just off-white with black specks in, no sparkle at all.”

“I was looking to use micro cement for a kitchen worktop and was hoping for reassurance about the overall look of the finished product. Whilst the samples do show the colour it’s difficult to visualise the look and feel from a very thin coating. Perhaps a thicker sample with a top surface and edge finished in the colour would provide that reassurance?”

“Product was good to use and looks good but be very careful with colours/samples. I got a sample of ‘sand dune’, it looked like the cream colour I wanted and ordered a kit. Delivery etc quick and no probs. Colour came out pale pink, I wrote to relentless to ask about it to be told sand dune does have a pink tinge, this was not apparent in the sample tile. I had to reorder two tubs of another colour to go over it costing me £200 and extra time. The final result now looks good but it’s been a hassle, it’s totally doable diy but and it is time consuming!”

“I like this product and use it a lot. I even recommend it to my clients when they haven’t yet decided on certain finishes. I’ve rated 3/5 stars as the customer service from you guys is shocking 👎. After many purchases, which you can see my purchase history when contacting your customer service team, I got in touch to let you know the product that arrived and that had been applied was supposed to be stucco but was not in fact stucco. I sent clear images of a previous stucco microcement I had applied in that colour and then pics of the batch I had been sent. There were NO dark veins of stucco ANYWHERE (like the previous one has, and like stucco should have). Your customer service dept. Right out told me I’m wrong, and it is stucco. I explained that there could have been a mistake and that I had been sent the wrong product. Your response was along the lines of ‘we don’t make mistakes’. Politely, I’d like to bring to your attention, that’s not how you keep your loyal customers happy! Like your product, but terrible service. I didn’t fight back, but it’s noted. I had to explain to the customer why the product isn’t as it should be and they don’t want to support you again.”

“DIY product is good however I then ordered some additional pigment of which the shipping cost was ridiculous. £13 to deliver something which doesn’t even 250grams. I now need to order some additional pigment for another project but I think I’ll look elsewhere.”

“Very concerned with final coat sealant that is still sticky and not drying. Builder now has to source more sealant to try and resolve issue……could it have been a bad batch of sealant?”

“The end product in its final form is good, the support is good. Love the result and the look of my bathroom. However, for the products that come premixed (Microne and Microrock), there are a lot of lumps which must be taken out before commencing the application process... A little dissappointed since it resulted in quite a bit wastage... End up having to buy more...”

“Good customer service but the quality of the samples vs the cost is very poor. For £9 plus postage you get a small bit of ragged mdf with a lick of paint in the top, not a quality sample so doesn’t fill you with confidence on the end result.”

“We got the wrong undercoat and it has meant the colour has come out much darker (annoying as it was meant to match the tiles). Unfortunately we had time pressures and the builder was going to charge the lots more to do extra coats. Plus we had calculated for the correct thickness so it would have become too thick. Other than that the company were easy to deal with and the texture/finish is great.”
