Very poor aftercare. The first thing that appealed to me about this company was the delivery timelines. 10 days maximum it stated, so I booked fitters in for 2 weeks time. They swiftly emailed stating that some of the items wouldn’t be available for 2-3 weeks, so I had to renogotiate with the fitters (not easy when they have such a queue of work currently). Fitters have started and some of the items were still due for delivery, some they were still unable to provide me with an exact delivery date. I have numerous emails telling me the “wall mounted toilet” I had ordered was on its way (I hadn’t ordered wall mounted). Each one I replied to and at first was given a rather shirty reply stating that is what I had ordered. I had to screenshot my receipt to show that was not the case. When the toilet arrived, box was not damaged in the slightest (they ask you to check state of boxes on delivery). I open in anticipation of seeing a wall mounted toilet. Thankfully it was the toilet I had ordered, however it had a huge crack right through it. I emailed the company. Their returns policy is for you to arrange pallet collection of the broken item, and they will not issue delivery of the new one until the broken item is received in the warehouse. This took 18 DAYS!! I have now had to stall the fitters at additional expense (they’ve already ripped out the old bathroom at this point), and we can’t get fit in until another 6-8 weeks. Great. Finally, 6 weeks later we are installing the bathroom, when I open the toilet seat (from its pristine box) and find a huge crack in that too. This was delivered on the same pallet as the toilet. The company declined to replace this due to the length of time since delivery, even though the pallet had clearly been bashed about during delivery. Plus, the very reason it’s been so long since delivery is due to their prior failings. I have called to discuss this with them and they were, quite frankly, rude. I won’t be using their services again. The stress it’s caused and being without a bathroom for 8 weeks is just not worth it.

This is a fair and honest review. I have used QS for single order items on a few of my previous jobs with no problems at all. So I placed a big order with them recently. This has been a disaster. I received both shower screens ordered within a few days. (Although one was damaged) I had to solve this direct with the manufacturer as QS were useless. The majority of the rest of order came after a lot of chasing up. In the end I cancelled the remaining outstanding order and sourced locally within a few days. So to some this up. After using email, phone and online chat to try to communicate I will not be using QS again. Customer service considering the QS stands for ‘quality service’ was none existent on this occasion.

So far, the shipping & customer service has been poor; A week after I ordered I had to chase to get a delivery date. Phoned again the next day as I didn't receive the email confirmation I'd been promised only to be told the delivery had slipped a further 4 days. Fingers crossed for next week's delivery - really need QS to stick to their promises.

They hold nothing in stock. Everything purchased from other suppliers. Weeks after order placed to be informed items are out of stock or discontinued. As they purchase from other suppliers mistakes get made with quantities. When mistakes are pointed out really hard to talk to them and then delivery times get doubled. Delivery costs for large orders is unreal. Again as they order from other suppliers every item has it's own delivery charge. £16,000 order took 3 months to fulfil surprisingly the so called in stock items took longer then the so called special order items. I am a designer / property developer and when you promise a client a job to be done and then you have several delays because of a supplier not having clear and up to date stock levels until you have paid makes things hard work. I would not use again.

Ordered a "sit -tight" toilet seat, which required glue (provided). When I came to fit the seat discovered the tube of glue was rock solid. When I contacted QS they asked me to provide a photograph of the "damaged part" (doh!). I did so and after a couple of days was advised (by them!!) to remind them if they hadn't contacted me within a certain number of days. I had to do so and eventually they got back to me advising that a replacement had been sent. As it hadn't arrived after more than a week I contacted the manufacturer ( Croydex) in desperation. They were fantastic and provided a replacement overnight, together with a spare pack of parts to enable me to complete the job. They seem to have quality goods but are useless at customer satisfaction.

I've recently purchased a number of things from QS Supplies, initial sales was OK, their website is very confusing when it comes to orders etc. The products I ordered came in drips and drabs over a long period. When it came to actually installing it all I realised that there were a couple of toilet roll holders missing. I rang and they said to submit a post on their online service, which I did. No one got back to me so I rang again. They said they would look into it and get back to me, this never happened as I had to ring and email again. They came back with, we've checked the warehouse and the order was shipped with something else I ordered. I told them that this was not the case. And now we are at an impasse. I've said that why would I have the need to lie about toilet roll holders, I've now had to resort to buying these items again from another store. So I'm marking them down because their customer service is appalling when it comes to after sales care. As soon as they have your money and if something is wrong, it's like pulling teeth. Not worth the savings made really.
