“Driving information was actually incorrect. The much publicised default speed limit in Wales is 20mph not the 30mph contained in the course information. Also, I should NOT check the weather before setting off on a journey - which was an "incorrect" answer to the quiz.”

“I only need to know what things are called in England, having the Scottish variations is unnecessary and confusing. I found the fire extinguisher test really confusing”

Our Fire Safety course is intended for use throughout the United Kingdom and does include a description of the key roles and responsibilities within organisations which are Fire Marshal/Warden, Building Emergency Officer/Co-ordinator and Responsible Person or Duty Holder (Scotland). The exercise on choosing the correct fire extinguisher gives an explanation on each fire extinguisher type and the classes of fire they can be used on.

Courses and related content cover many topics and can take longer to complete depending on the course type taken. They combine all relative information to assist learners in completing end of chapter quiz sections and successfully pass the final assessment.

“too long, seems like it is never ending. There are heading with sub heading and more heading and more sub headings. didn't find it enjoyable unfortunately and lost interest after a few minutes.”

“veeeery long and with obvious questions at the end, also the ui needs some work, not intuitive. repetitive info. maybe you need to make this more fun than a chore so people remember.”

“Well-designed, but I've never seen such a large amount of obvious information bundled together and called a 'training'. Huge waste of time. 8-year-olds could clear this in as much time as I did, having to go through all the clicks. But fortunately I know what 2 x 2 is now!”

The 2 x 2 slides you are referring to are within a chapter that explains how levels of risk are calculated for tasks or situations that may occur in the workplace and how these are incorporated into an appropriate risk assessment. It is important to note that your employer is assigning you this course to fulfil legal requirements and ensure safety in the workplace.

“Text is riddled with typos and errors. Strongly advise review and revision. There is an uneven distribution in the amount of text and time to get through it, with some lesser items taking more time than others more deserving of attention. A lot of unnecessary clicking, which did not promote active engagement. Assessment questions often included obviously wrong answers (e.g., "providing the wrong tools"). Finally, the estimate of 40 minutes is very off. Expect at least 2 hrs.”

Our courses take around 30-40 minutes on average to complete, but this can depend on the learner and the complexity of the course content. Our Health & Safety Awareness and Induction courses can take longer as the content covered is more detailed.
