Hi Claire, Sorry to hear that you are facing some issues, but don't worry, we'll work with you to resolve them. As with any mobile network, if you are using a SIM in a phone that is locked to another network, it will need to be unlocked beforehand. We do note this in the 'How It Works' section on the homepage and within the FAQ's. We'll suspend the billing for you now to give you time to unlock your phone. If you could contact the office when you have resolved this, we'll move your billing date to ensure that you get a full first month.

“The guys at parentshield have guided me throughout setting this service up for my son in the very early days , even in a Sunday taking my calls . I was reluctant to allow my son to have a phone but was forced into it to ensure his safety and well-being when he was not with myself , and so he always has a point of contact to me which wasn’t guaranteed with his iPad on WiFi . They have been responsive , helped tweak his settings appropriately and when my son was out of the country immeadiatley acted to ensure he had roaming facility . If your child is vulnerable or you have any concerns regarding giving them mobile phones honestly this is the best service there is out there with all the layers of protection it has I came to the opinion it was safer than my son using his iPad which I had no control over when he was out of sight. Works in conjunction with family sharing also for total peace of mind. Thankyou for everything !”

“Parent Shield has been a wonderful solution to our concerns regard getting our 11 year old a phone so she can be social with her friends, use it for general surfing and using the apps she wants, but in a very safe way. It gives us great peace of mind that everything is recorded even if things get deleted by her and also should she lose the phone and it be used by someone else. Further to this the team, Paul in particular have been very helpful in ensuring we get the old phone set up and working fully. Even on a Sunday night we received a call offering to help and were sent some very useful info links. I highly recommend this company and their services.”

“Easy to use portal, rolling contract free to up or downgrade. Excellent after sales via email and phone. Email response normally within minutes. Also as the sim is roaming there is a better chance of a good signal. Would recommend.”

“So far so good! My daughter was 12 when she got her first mobile, we gave her all the talks about internet safety, don't make friends with people you don't know, don't give out personal details etc... unfortunately she didn't listen! We agreed she could have instagram, which I monitored. Unfortunately I didn't realise she had made up another account, she was following people she didn't know, her behaviour changed and she was very moody. I checked her phone and found this other Instagram account, my daughter had images of self harm etc, messages to people about self harming. My daughter then had counselling, we took the smart phone away and gave her a mobile with just calls and text messages, no internet access. I couldn't believe how difficult it was to get a mobile phone/SIM card without data, young children should not have access to a lot of sites/apps on the internet. When I found Parent Shield I was really pleased, I don't want to constantly check my daughter's messages, but unfortunately, after what we've been through, it think it is essential.”
