“Scam. They take 30% fees. Avoid them Please please please”

“Disgusting Immoral Robbers! I used the online form to contact Online Tax Rebates Ltd and I was pleasantly surprised at how quick they responded which seemed genuine and promising. I gave them my Claim Reference number and apparently a Cheque had been sent to my old address which I moved from so I was unable to obtain this. They said they could stop that Cheque and reissue a new one to my new address but for a Re-issue fee of £30. So I agreed to have the new Cheque sent to my current address as it was my only option. I was told a Cheque had been posted to me by 2nd class post and it would arrive in 5 to 7 business days. Its been nearly 3 weeks now and still no Cheque so I am starting to believe I have been scammed. All of my £457 refund from HMRC has been stolen and my email enquiries are being ignored. This company are pure evil robbing liars. Stay away!”

“Please please, do not use this company, they took €700 of my €2200 rebate, they fleece you of your hard earned money and are uncontactable after that, I would give them zero stars”

“Do not use this rio off company I am absolutely disgusted with the amount they have taken off me. I received a letter from HMRC saying they owe me £70 the cheque went to this scam company I received a cheque off them for the total of £8.86 so basically they have taken all the rebate for there absolute rip off fees. I urge everyone to stop using this company it's your money and they take most of it. I will be warning people that this company are parasites”

“This company is a complete fraud. If I could give zero stars I would. There was zero correspondences between myself and this company regarding my case. I never received an email of confirmation that they were taking on case. Months late I received a letter from HMRC stating that a cheque was on its way to my door within 5 days. 2 months had past and I finally plucked up the courage to phone HMRC to query the whereabouts of my cheque. I was told on the phone that my cheque had went to a third party. Unaware of this, I had to hunt down where my cheque was. I have been fobbed off on the phone multiple times and via email. Turns out apparently my cheque had been sent to my work place - without my consent. I’d like to add that I work in a hospital so there has been no way in tracking down where my cheque is. I spoke yet again to this company requesting the cheque be sent to my home. I received an email stating my cheque had to be sent to a residential address?????? My home address is a residential address. I’ve spoken to many managers etc and have wasted my money on phone calls with no success. I have been a victim of fraud by the looks of it. These companies should be illegal. My advice… do not use.”

“It is a scam! They won't tell you at the beginning how much they will charge you and after all it is 30%! Robbery! Try other company or do it yourself, it's not that complicated.”

“They took my rebate and telling me that because I removed them from my HRMC account, they cannot access it and they will give me the money when they receive a cheque replacement. What a non-sense! Avoid them! It is scam!”
