“Great product. Solid and easy to install alone. However, the documentation is confusing. It took too long to determine what is RIGHT/LEFT vs Front and Back. Please make this minor adjustment to the instructions and save everyone at least an hour deciphering the poorly written instructions.”
“I received my car rack in a timely manner. I was disappointed with the cocking to attach the rack to the car. The cocking was hard as cement, and I was unable to use it. I had to purchase adhesive from Lowe's which ended up ouzzing out at the points of attachment.”
“MB hood protector was not well made. 3 pieces that did not fit well at seams. One side appears to be molded differently than the hood. Install was not well documented.”
“The roof rack cross bars were great value for the price. HOWEVER, the assembly instructions consisted of three pages of photos or drawings with NO written explanations at all. An attempt to contact customer service resulted in the AIbot transferring my chat to an alleged human that never came online. After wasting a days time of studying said pics and drawings and the various pieces, I managed to assemble the bars correctly, I hope.”
“The description did not reveal that the bottom of the shark was not completely open and had some wiring that restricted the underneath so it could not fit over the electronics on the car . I needed a hollow shark to fit my car”
“I like the looks of the locking lug nuts. But the reason I only gave it a 3 star is one of the lug nut had the threads messed up, like this kit went out to someone else messed it up and returned it. Luckily I was able to fix the threads.”
“The racks seem very sturdy but the diagram-only instructions are difficult to follow, particularly the part about measuring and cutting the strips of rubber stopper that prevent the vars from sliding left and right in their brackets. There also are some small channels that produce an annoying whistle at anything above street speed.”
“The customer service conversation was very good. Took three calls to figure out why I was not recieving the email to p l ace the orderl, was being sent in rhe wrong email format. The actual link ordering process was slightly challenging, and not being able to see the final sales price before ordering. After ordering saw the cost, $20.00 plus tax was a little pricey for 6 small bug deflector screw plastic finishing caps! Expensive!!!”
