“I have used various online PDF tools to compress PDF files, but I needed a more convenient and secure way of compressing multiple files. I found the free version of NXPowerLite Desktop and have not been disappointed, so I parted with some cash. It performs really well and I also discovered an Outlook add-in to automatically compress email attachments. I am over the moon. Good job guys!”

“I'm forever sending design documents (PDFs) and PowerPoint presentations around. Because of the type of content I produce, they tend to be quite large documents and, previously, I'd get complaints about document size, how long it took to download, etc. Now I just run them through NXPowerLite before emailing them and all those complaints have gone away. In fact, people are THANKING me for all the extra work they think I'm doing by making sure the documents aren't too big! One of these days I'll let them know about the app, but for now...”

“Simple interface, drop and drag feature with an auto save on to desktop to keep things easy. Compressed a 5Mb JPG file to 615k without loss in quality whilst retaining the same DPI and file dimensions. Excellent!”

“I like the software. I do not like the fact that the settings does not have ability to "ask me first if objects should flattened. There is a check box but this is just one way or the other - WHICH IS NOT HOW PEOPLE WORK - Neuxpower made a big mistake on this!”

We have not changed the behaviour of NXPowerLite with regard to embedded objects, so this particular feature request will be noted as a new requirement for consideration. A review of the support for embedded objects is already on our development list for NXPowerLite Desktop 8, so your request will be included in our investigation. As you are a long-term user of NXPowerLite, I hope that you find the other features of the software useful. “Works very well integrated with Outlook. Has never let me down. I used to use it stand alone back in the day and it has always been the tool I installed when presentations grow beyond my beyond my liking ;-)”

“Great product which I've been using for many years. One complaint. On average every 2 years my IT administer gives me a new laptop. But when I try to install a 2 year old version using the original license number I'm told that the version is too old and I have to buy the latest version. This is the reason that I haven't bought copies for my whole sales team.”

Hi Darren, thanks for taking the time to leave a review for NXPowerLite. Our desktop licence is perpetual, and you can use whichever version you purchased forever. Unfortunately, when Microsoft bring out new software we have R&D to upgrade a new release, I imagine you are updating your software when you get new PCs. We do offer NXPowerLite Upgrade Assurance which is a yearly fee that covers for any version we release that a lot of users find viable.
