About Momentum Wines:

Momentum popped its first cork as a wine retailer back in 2005! Having been involved with wines from an early age (Howard’s family ran a chain of off-licences in the 70’s and 80’s), there was a belief that there was room in the market town of Oswestry for a wine specialist. Some 16 years later the business has evolved somewhat, and now operates as both a physical and on-line retailer, and a trade supplier to many hotels, restaurants, and bars.

We try to stay competitive with other independent online wine retailers, but we can't compete with the large companies unfortunately. Hi Patrick Many thanks for taking the time to feedback, we really appreciate it. Unfortunately, the banner about next day delivery disappears when you checkout. We can't change this unfortunately as it's a standard Shopify checkout which can't be altered. I'll see what else we might be able to do to improve the visibility of this information. In regards to delivery cost, we try and stay competitive with other small independent retailers, but we can't compete with the larger online retailers. It's a fragile service so we pay a premium and we just try and cover our costs. We do offer free delivery over £150. Again, thanks for taking the time, it's always good to get feedback. “Firstly, the website was very user friendly and I found ordering the wine very easy. Delivery was very fast - I ordered one day, received an email to say the wine was on its way the next, and then emails from the carrier about delivery. That was really efficient! The wine was also very well packed and arrived in perfect condition. I would highly recommend Momentum Wines and will certainly purchase again from them.”

“The wine is good but the delivery is rubbish. DPD called when I was out and rather than trying again left the wine at a shop in ringwood that has no parking and infrequent opening hours! So I had to carry a case of wine back to the car park. Won’t be ordering again”

“Started off as a google search and so glad they popped up. The wine l was after was not the most expensive but they had it in stock, so 10 bottles were ordered, l was kept up to date via email and delivery was very quick. Must say that the bottles are well packed. Will l be using them again, you bet. Saved in my favorites on the basis of great service. Give them a try, you won't regret it. Tony”
