About Momentum Wines:

Momentum popped its first cork as a wine retailer back in 2005! Having been involved with wines from an early age (Howard’s family ran a chain of off-licences in the 70’s and 80’s), there was a belief that there was room in the market town of Oswestry for a wine specialist. Some 16 years later the business has evolved somewhat, and now operates as both a physical and on-line retailer, and a trade supplier to many hotels, restaurants, and bars.

“You do what you say you will do, no problem at all. We have only bought Honu wine because my wife likes it. I have not yet looked for an pinot grigio or other reds yet but I probably will”

“So far, so good. Customer service and delivery very good, as expected. My main choice of wine is for a present later in the year but it's one I know well so I had no qualims about ordering 6 bottles at a very fair price for a wine of this class. I included 2 bottles of Bella Modella,again not for myself. It's a typical, rather bland PInot Grigio at a typical price. Will be ordering from you again.”

“I have tried one bottle and I have to say it was very good. I did decant it and drank it over two days and it was better on day two. I started with the least expensive bottle of the six ordered so am hoping they will all be good now. Thanks”

We try to stay competitive with other independent online wine retailers, but we can't compete with the large companies unfortunately. “Competitive pricing, quick delivery. Point off, as base of packaging was not very secure and bottle paper tissue (not a low cost wine) all scrunched up. Resolve packaging and an easy 5star.”

Hi Robert Thank you for taking the time to feedback, and I'm so sorry the tissue paper was scrunched up. We use recycled pulp to protect our bottles in transit which has reduced breakages to pretty much zero, but appreciate the pulp inserts can pull on the tissue paper when the bottles are in transit. We are currently looking at a protective sleeve as an alternative to leaving the winery's tissue paper on the premium bottles, so your feedback is super helpful and timely, thank you. “The product range is really good and the price of the particular wine we chose was reasonable. We did experience a few days delay in our order but that was out of your control to a degree. Fortunately because we ordered well in advance it didn’t spoil our party plans”
