About Momentum Wines:

Momentum popped its first cork as a wine retailer back in 2005! Having been involved with wines from an early age (Howard’s family ran a chain of off-licences in the 70’s and 80’s), there was a belief that there was room in the market town of Oswestry for a wine specialist. Some 16 years later the business has evolved somewhat, and now operates as both a physical and on-line retailer, and a trade supplier to many hotels, restaurants, and bars.

“It was recommended by the landlady of the Crown at Clunton and it is the best white wine we have tasted. Keep it in stock I will be back for more.”

“I can't speak highly enough of the level of service I received when placing my online order for a case of Akemi Oaked Viura Rioja Blanco. The website was very easy to use and very clear My order was received the following day, each bottle was superbly protected and the outer carton was very sturdy. Excellent all round and the wine is amazing. Superb company and a pleasure to deal with - will definitely use again! Chris”

“Found this website when I was searching for a specific wine I’d sampled in a bar in Dulwich last weekend. It was easy to order and I was delighted to receive confirmation of shipping and delivery very promptly. A one hour delivery slot was offered via a text message plus options to rearrange, should it not have suited. My wine arrived as promised. The packaging was the best I have ever seen … absolutely zero possibility of the wine being damaged in transit. The wine was accompanied by tasting notes. I definitely recommend Momentum. An excellent service and the wine i ordered tastes exactly as I remembered. I have ordered four other wines, none of which I’ve previously tried. I am looking forward to sampling all.”
