“We searched the internet to assess Greater Manchester companies who were established in refurbishing staircases and quickly chose ModerniseYour Stairs for our staircase refurbishment in oak and glass panels. We initially gained confidence with this family company’s product, joinery experience and service from viewing their website. Our website request for a budget price was dealt with promptly and interpreted our requirements correctly. The showroom provided us with an excellent showcase for their designs and workmanship. The subsequent home survey where we agreed the details reinforced our confidence that this was a reliable and experienced company that we could trust to provide a high quality product. No sales pressure throughout. The installation was commenced on an agreed date and our fitter (Josh) was a very experienced, precise and tidy workman. We are very happy with our refurbished staircase and highly recommend ModerniseYour Stairs. Completed Oct 2024.”

“Brilliant service from our first showroom visit to the final fitting. All our queries and concerns were met with calm, assured, knowledgeable answers and the price was competitive with other countrywide firms. The work was fitted on time and our fitter, Josh, was friendly, professional and tidy and made sure we were kept informed and happy with the work as it progressed. He also worked really hard to ensure our interior decoration wasn't damaged at all during the whole process, an achievement in itself. Great to work with a local family firm that delivered such a fantastic service. We highly recommend them to everyone.”

“We had the storage cupbaords install under our stairs, the fitter was a gentleman called Slav. His workmanship was first class, his respect of the house and cleanliness was again first class and his personal interactons was again first class. Overlall a great experience and the quality work of the storage cupboards installed were exceptional. Highly recommended!”

“From our very first visit to the showroom, to the finished installation, the experience with Shane and the team at Vale of Wigan has been first rate. Quickly got to understand what we wanted, gave us a date for installation and stuck to it. The fitter who installed was a credit to tradespeople. He did a fantastic job and always ensured he cleaned up after he had finished. High praise and can't recommend the team enough.”

“We are very impressed with our under stair storage. The fitter's workmanship was to a very high standard. He always made sure the area he was working in was clean and tidy. The finished product has transformed our hallway and would recommend the company to our family and friends and whoever reads this review. It was well worth the money - we had 6 drawers and a cupboard. Thank you vale of Wigan.”

“If you are looking to modernise your staircase you need to look no further than Vale of Wigan. From initial enquiry to final installation, the service was excellent. I would recommend a visit to the showroom where you can get get a feel for the quality of the product. Chad was very helpful in showing us the various options but leaving us to make the final decision without any pressure. Anthony did a great job with the installation. His attention to detail was excellent and he made suggestions for improving details where necessary. Shane was quick to resolve minor misunderstandings regarding the specification and was always focused on the customer's needs and satisfaction.”

“Highly Recommended! …… if you are considering refurbishing your stairs then look no further than Vale of Wigan. We recently decided to update our 1960s “ranch style” balustrade to a modern “oak and glass” staircase. This has completely transformed the look of our hallway and landing areas and we are delighted with the results. The whole process, from review of samples with Shane, ordering and through to completion of installation was extremely professional and on schedule. A huge thanks to Shane, Anthony (the fitter) and the whole Vale team for an excellent job well done!”

“Once we had decided that we wanted a new staircase, the next hard decision was who to choose. We had discussions with a couple of companies, before we met Shane at the showroom. The ease of discussion, the efficiency of the quote, the friendly nature of the discussions, and the feedback from previous happy customers, made the decision an easy one. Each element of the process was, as promised, and Michael and Dylan arrived to complete the installation. Friendly, polite, knowledgeable, and with an eye for detail, they were like a breath of fresh air, and cleaned up after themselves. Thank You !”
