Established in 2019 we are an expert Mortgage, Protection & Specialist Lending Broker. We offer telephony advice to the whole of the country – and are based in Salisbury, Wiltshire with an additional office located in Southampton, Hampshire.

Our founding directors are Matthew & Rebecca Jackson – with over 40 years combined experience in the financial services industry they have a passion for helping our clients achieve their dreams.

“Charlotte Howard recently helped me get my Mortgage and to say I’m grateful is an understatement. After being turned down for a mortgage on three occasions due to my credit history I started to think that I would never be able to get a one. I contacts Mint FS who put me in contact with Charlotte who was absolutely amazing. Charlotte did everything and was so helpful and knowledgeable. “Having been rejected elsewhere we got in touch with matthew, who found a lender that had us accepted in no time. He was brilliant from first contact to last, he also helped us with insurance policies and literally any questions we had, and we had a lot. We 100% would not be in our new home now without him and will forever be grateful for helping us get into the ladder. “When we first went with Mint FS they was extremely helpful, they called regularly and kept us upto date with everything that was going on, what we needed to do, etc. However, after our mortgage was agreed and they could no longer sell us anything like home insurance, life insurance, etc things fell very quiet. We had several problems that we asked them to chase but we never heard anything back. Towards the end of the buying process we was chasing our solicitor and asked Mint to do the same. It was drawing very close to the date we wished for completion and wanted to make sure it went through on time. Although mint did chase this for us, they then took 4 days letting us know they had heard back from the solicitors at which point things had already moved considerably further ahead. Overall it wasn't a negative experience, but it wasn't a particularly positive one either. They never gave us updates often enough to know if they was actually chasing the solicitor like they claimed. The solicitors never mentioned hearing from them and neither did anyone else we continually had to chase and asked them to chase. If our mortgage price wasn't as good as it was the score would likely be lower.”

““Charlotte was amazing from start to finish, with a purchase and remortgage. She was very friendly, answering any questions I had, even about solicitor questions, she would chase the solicitors to try and get the process finished always kept me in the loop without me chasing. We had problems with the mortgage company and we had to change company it was no problem. She’d often call us on weekends and evenings and on her days off her work ethic is really good. A lovely all round experience, I would highly recommend Charlotte.”

“I'm now settling into a home that I would never have been able to buy if it hadn't been for Matthew Jackson. I have some very unusual circumstances and I called broker after broker only to be told by all of them that it would be impossible to get a mortgage...but Matthew said he would try and that's exactly what he did. He explained exactly what my options were but the most fantastic thing about that was that he actually took the time to investigate my particular case and presented me with options which no other broker had taken the time to do. No one else had seemed interested in trying to find a way through my particularly challenging circumstances. So a huge thank you to him from my now enormous and beautiful living room which I've just begun decorating. You said yes when everyone else said no. Thank you so much Matt! Many many many thanks!”
