Excellent course, covered a range of topics, good practical skills session with assistance when needed. Good pace, interesting and after felt I came away well equipped to start minor ops. The trainers were very good, knowledgeable and had a lot of experience to offer.

Probably the best 2 day course I have been on for a long time. Great speakers, kept it light and entertaining. Supportive help on the skills section. Left feeling very knowledgeable and keen to try out my new skills and share knowledge with my colleagues. Would highly recommend the course.

This is the most enjoyable course I’ve been on. I usually get a bit jaded after a couple of hours of teaching but the mix of theory, practical, and advice on setting up a successful clinic, delivered in a succinct and sometimes humorous way made the days feel very short.

Fantastic jokes and anecdotes. Worked hard to put you at ease for DOPS. This is the third minor surgery course I’ve done and the best by a country mile. Changed my practice, cemented old skills and learnt new techniques. Really pleased.

Brilliant minor surgery course. Covers a lot of relevant and practical topics which cover the minor ops GP's do. There was no dull nor boring moment. The tutors were great. They kept the teaching clear, short and simple. The course organisers also did very well providing good lunch (many course organisers fail here). I totally recommend this course.

We covered so much in 2 days and I really feel that I've learnt new skills that I'll be able to use in future. The course leaders were engaging, approachable and extremely knowledgeable; they were able to correct me on multiple things that I'd learnt incorrectly in the past and I really trust their judgement. The location and meals were also great and overall it felt like fantastic value for money. I'm already looking into booking the joint injection course.

Fantastic course with a great mix of practical teaching with theory, as well as very relevant points to consider. Absolutely love the ‘lipoma’, cyst and squeezing out the abscess - such good fun!

This was a very useful day. Both for learning joint injections and revising joint examination and common conditions. It was really interesting to hear up to date evidence-based guidance on managing MSK conditions.

I would highly recommend the minor surgery course for any healthcare professional with an interest! As a foundation year 2 doctor and aspiring GP with limited knowledge and experience in minor surgery, I was worried I would feel out of my depth during the course. However Mike and Duncan were fantastic teachers who taught at the right pace for everyone and made the 2-day course thoroughly enjoyable - thank you!
