“Training was brilliant, catering to general practice. Pros and Cons, difficulties well explained, Mike and Duncan had great sense of humour and willing to answer all questions. Assessment was well managed with both pre and post MCQ. Overall very happy with course. Would recommend.”

“I highly recommend any paramedic working in a primary care setting to undertake this course if you wish to gain confidence if your wound closure/management skills. The 2 day course is interactive with plenty of practical sessions to learn about different suture techniques and keeping the technique simple and straight forward. I feel much more confident in my capability to consult patients in the community that present with superficial wounds and recognise when I need to refer onwards. The course content was at the right level and pace to keep students attention. Plus both trainers provide a lot of support when performing the wound closure techniques and will get you through the DOPS assessment.”

“The course is primarily designed for those working in the primary care setting. However, as an NP in an acute hospital, I found the course both informative and very interesting. The course leaders were vastly experienced and encouraged participation and discussion in a relaxed environment. I thoroughly enjoyed the course and my manager has arranged for all the NPs in our unit to attend the course next year. Thanks for a great 2 days Mike and Duncan”

“One of the greatest courses attended compared to other courses attended in the past 20 years. Each section, broken down into digestible portions, teaching done with a great fun element, made to seem sexy, enthusiasm, and motivation shown in teaching, and the techniques in the practical shown taught and retreaded on numerous occasions to Perfect the techniques. Knowledge tested appropriately in MCQ format, and also the ability tested of each doctor to perform the four basic type of suture techniques. Great depth of curriculum covered, including recognition of skin, cancer, complications, preop, preop, and postop criteria, The required service provisions and the QC involvement, and of course the safety for the patient”
