“I attended the 2 day minor surgery course in Birmingham. The course was excellent....! It covered the basics well, supported by practical sessions. The groups were small of approx 20 attendees. The subject matter was relevant and practical. The highlight was definately the enagaging presenter , who was able to share his experiences with the audience. The venue was ideal, easy to find, ample parking at reasonable cost, comfortable seats and lots of space. Ample drinks and good food was an advantage. Well done team .. definately one of the best courses I have attended. A few minor points to feedback. I would have preferred if joint injections was an entirely seperate course so more time could be given to minor ops. I did have some issues booking onto the course when I was given incorrect information, but this was quickly rectified by Tom. Well done. AI”

“Probably the best minor surgery skills update I’ve been to in years. Kept our focus, right level of humour, anecdote and content. Most digestible shoulder tutorial I’ve ever had. The shoulder examination makes absolute sense for the first time-wish someone had presented this to me in this way 20 years ago! Now keen and excited to do some cutting in general practice.”

“A great course not just focussing on the practical skills of joint injection, but a much more holistic approach going back to basics firstly assessing each joint and the aetiology of someone’s symptoms to inform the best management plan. A great hands on session to identify key landmarks.The team also made very clear the adjunctive role of injections alongside other measures to ensure symptom relief and resolution, that steroid injections alone are not the solution.”

“I attended the Medical Skills courses Dermal Fillers training day. I have previously attended the Minor Surgery course & Botox training days. Thank you for providing another enjoyable and informative day. The course content was well presented and there was plentiful opportunity to practice the techniques on live models. I feel i have gained what i needed to feel confident to carry the procedures out in my practice. Becky was a great demonstrator and very approachable. I was particularly happy to be shown the use of the cannula to administer the fillers as i was not expecting this too. Thanks again and i would love to do an advanced course with you in future.”
