“Great course for the beginners. Both Mike and Dunkan were really good. Well balance of theory and practical. Equally good for both GP and community nurses who are planning to start minor surgery. A good refresher for community clinicians. Very comfortable venue with well thought start and finish time of the course. Very well planned no IT hiccups with presentations and no issues with practice tools as there were plenty of them for every one. Very good food. Very friendlypresentations . Overall great experience. Thank you so much!”

“Excellent hands on course with very good presenters - even after many years of doing minor ops I learnt about sub cuticular stitches , mattress sutures as well as refreshing my suturing techniques”

“I highly recommend this course, run by 2 experts in their field. Great relaxed, fun but very detailed and informative teaching style. Plenty of time for practical skills with a clear demonstration for each procedure. A great venue. Nice food. If you want to start a minor surgery service in your practice or refresh your skills, this is the course for you.”

“The quality of the material was very good and written from a primary care perspective. There were also several useful tips throughout the course. It was good to interact with other GPs. For beginners, it may be good to have a smaller student to surgeon ratio. Perhaps a dedicated minor surgery skills course in the future for beginners would be good as there is quite a lot for a beginner to get their head round in a short period in terms of equipment handling, learning the sutures and the pressure of doing a DOPS the next day!”
