“Fantastic course. Mike is a fantastic speaker. Duncan is a patient teacher. David is also great. Tom organised it brilliantly. Catering staff were lovely. I think if I had been a beginner a bit more time on the suturing would be helpful although everyone seemed to manage well. Very grateful for an entertaining and engaging course.”

This course is okay excellent, given by fellow GP, highly skilled in minor surgery, who are able to give loads of practical and useful information. Thank you for your excellent work!”

“Wow, I personally felt humble and proud being in the same room as both the course lecturers and those attending the course. I learnt so much, everyone was so helpful, kind and willing to share their knowledge. The training, equipment, vocal and visual aids were all excellent. “Two day minor surgery course held at Hotel Football in Manchester from 1st to 2nd July 2021. Both presenters, Mike and Duncan, presented the course in a very light hearted manner which made learning very easy and engaging. Very much an interactive approach again which enhances learning. Practical sessions included suturing ( simple knot, vertical and horizontal stitching and dermal sutures) and also removing cysts, moles, keratosis, lipomas and punch biopsy. I have been doing minor surgery for a number of years and felt the course was still very interesting and useful to me as it was to a beginner. Breakfast and lunch provided with coffee and tea available throughout the day including soft drinks. If I had to make one suggestion it would be to have some fruit available. I would recommend this course to any beginner and also anyone with experience. Many thanks to Mike and Duncan for the way in which they deliver their material which engages the audience making learning a lot more fun.”

“The minor surgery course exceeded my expectations. It was well structured with a lot of practical tips. The tutors were very approachable and very knowledgeable. The course is full of useful tips to set up your own minor surgery clinic. Even though I have a surgical background, I benefitted a lot from this course.”
