“This is my first single speed so I cant compare it to another. But overall I am very happy with it. The build quality is excellent and it was pretty easy to assemble. Some of the components are a bit on the cheap side, I will be replacing the brakes soon but I'm ok with that as it keeps the initial price down. It took 2 months to arrive but it was well worth the wait. I love my Mango, I'm so happy with it.”

“I adore my bike very much, it looks amazing and the service in terms of correspondence was ideal. I do deliveroo and im out on the bike 4 to 6 hours 6 days a week, and am delighted to have something im so proud of riding around. Super lightweight as well! Can't compliment the personal feel of the service enough, all for a ridiculously reasonable price. I have been greatly enjoying the faces people make when they ask how much. Do yourself a favour and go with these fine folks.”

“My Mango bike looks amazing and the build quality is 10/10.... Can’t complain about anything at all. Sure there are waiting times longer than expected but it’s 2020, the year the world fell apart... the team are clearly doing their best and working harder everyday to get the bikes out so hang in there if you are in the queue, it will be more than worth it. “Love my bike. Really well priced for what you get, and it’s amazing how much you can customise the colours and different frame/wheel/pedal options. Also assembling it wasn’t too hard and it’s given me more confidence in knowing how to fix my bike/how it all goes together which makes me feel more confident! Really lightweight, lovely design - easy to carry up stairs. Waited a while for it but can’t really fault Mango for that as there were probably delays in the supply chain. Mango were very communicative if these issues and delays and sorted me out with an upgraded frame to get me my bike quicker. Great work!!”

“I’m glad i ordered with Mango. You can choose bike, choose a frame, choose a wheels, choose a saddle, choose a Foxy colour for almost every single thing, choose a pedals, handlebars, drivetrain... Their bikes are superb, well build and fun to ride. And if you turn it to Fixie it will pedal on its own :) Definitely it is worth the wait. Which wasn't so bad, now a day. Thank you Mangos”

“I ordered my bike in May and it arrived in September. All together it took 101 days to arrive. While I appreciate there’s been a huge demand recently for bikes, the communication of when I should expect my bike hasn’t been great. I was always told “another two weeks” then a month later I’d receive an email saying “another two weeks”. I watched the instruction videos before it arrived and so was expecting to receive the tools and instructions with the bike but I didn’t, luckily I have some tools already I was able to use. That said, once the bike was built it was great and I can’t say enough good things about the end product, it’s just a shame the ordeal to get it and build it was such a stressful one.”

“Due to the pandemic I waited nearly 3 months for my bike. Communication wasn’t great but did get better as things started to ease up. Would I have liked my bike sooner? Yes, of course. But given the situation I knew it would take longer than any estimate given. And now I have my bike it was well worth the wait. The main thing is that my bike is AMAZING! I’m so happy with the quality of parts, how it looks and how it rides! (Like a dream!!). Thank you Mango bikes!”

“I will start with saying despite my 3 stars my custom single speed bike is really fantastic and I am really happy with it. I am just very disappointed that the communication with Mango between me placing my order (24th June) and when my bike arrived (2nd September) was very poor. After a few weeks a date finally arrived on my account as ‘start of August’ and then a generic email saying that the frames had finally arrived and the bike would be ready soon.....I contacted Mango twice, once via email and once by phone - neither time got a response. Whilst I appreciate that they had a huge backlog due to the pandemic, I didn’t even get an apology! All I see is Mango congratulating themselves. Well done your bikes are incredible but work on your customer service!”

“Well worth the wait! I get that there are issues with Mango bikes as they’ve been swamped with orders, along with many other cycle companies and shops. So I have had no problem waiting for delivery of my order which came this week. I am so happy with my purchase and have been out cycling on it every day this week. Have given 4 stars as the only grumble was having to chase them up for an update on my order. Thankfully I found the details for the owner and he responded immediately and was really helpful and understanding of the situation they were in. Time to head back out on my bike, happy days”

“i love the bike now i have it! a 4 month wait was just ridiculous but i understood the time we are in. I'm meant to get money sent back for not getting my cage pedals and i haven't had that yet? But i'd definitely get another bike on the off chance it won't take so long, customer service was a bit slack but they kept me updated when i needed it and understood they were going through a crazy period.”

“I really feel for you guys with recent poor reviews. It seems that people aren't patient enough to wait an extra week or so for a lovely, well built bike during a world wide pandemic. You are clearly stretched to the limits with supply chain, staffing and other issues. First world problems. I bought a 'gus' and it an awesome ride. It came well packaged and was easily put together with some basic bike tools. Keep up the good work. I hope to cycle across for a wee visit once the pandemic is over. You all deserve a few beers. “Really happy with my bike. The ride is really nice and it's super speedy. It was pretty easy to assemble together and everything was pretty well tuned, except the front disc brake was a little too tight and needed loosening up a tad, but I imagine that probably happened in transit. The turnaround took quite a long time and I couldn't get the orange frame due to a fault in the frame they had left, but I am happy with the blue one I got. The sweets and bell that came with the bike were a nice touch too, however the bell doesn't fit on my bike as the handlebars are too thick, so it's fairly useless to me. Overall, I'm happy, although the experience wasn't perfect, the product is ace!”
