“We booked a karting party for our son and left feeling frustrated, rushed, and let down. It wasn’t cheap – close to £700 – and we were expecting a smooth experience. What we got was far from that. We arrived at the time we were told, only to find another party still going. Our space was being used, staff looked confused, and nobody seemed to know what was going on. Guests were turning up and we were left to sort things ourselves. One team member, Chris, was openly rude and unhelpful – eye rolls, short answers, and zero interest in supporting us. When we asked why we were being moved on so quickly, the response was basically “we don’t get paid overtime.” Not exactly the level of care you hope for when hosting a group of excited kids. The biggest concern? The kids raced without helmets or suits, even though this was part of the advertised package. No one told us. It just didn’t happen. Several parents raised concerns on the day, and I completely agreed – it didn’t feel safe. Afterwards, I called the manager, Enver, to explain how disappointed we were. He apologised and offered a partial refund – and then disappeared. No follow-up. No payment. No response to messages. Just a warning to others: what you’re promised and what you get may be very different. And once it’s over, don’t count on any accountability. The racing itself was fun for the kids – but everything around it was a mess.”
