“Certainly will use LDF again as I have been in the past several years for unblocking various drain blockages. I called them Friday noon and was given a Monday pm appointment which i accepted without much thought as i did not think the blocked manhole in the front garden was in a critical condition. However having received two phone calls from neighbours and one from a tenant in the building i phoned LDF again on Sunday to urge them to do the job immediately without charging out of hours/weekend rate. they agreed immediately and the job was carried out withing an hour and manhole unblocked and left in perfect working order. Would have been ideal if the operative/engineer had ended the job washing - with a couple of buckets of water with or without detergent - the overflown sewage round the manhole cover but not a huge problem as tenants did that afterwards.”
