“We signed up with Independent Cottages in March 2021 and within 2 months our 4 cottages are pretty full over the peak summer period. IC’s writers are really professional, and their SEO must be pretty good too as IC constantly appear in the top few listings on Google in relation to searches holiday-makers make for properties in Polrunny Farm’s niche - sea view self-catering cottages in Cornwall. “We recently joined Independent Cottages in order to increase the number of direct bookings for our self catering accommodation at Eisteddfa Country House & Cottages near Criccieth, North Wales. From the start of our discussions with them Sarah was very helpful, quick with her replies and efficient. Once we'd decided to go ahead it took only around 10 days from when we signed up to going live on their website, all the work being done by them, including original and engaging write ups which really opened my eyes to what a good writer can achieve. Since going live approx two weeks ago we have had lots of enquiries (we didn't have the live calendar up at the start which meant many enquiries for July & August!). Once we got our calendars up - again all the work being done by them - we've had nothing but quality enquiries and have had half a dozen solid bookings. I'm very pleased to have chosen to advertise our cottages with Independent Cottages, it's already paying for itself and it's been so straightforward from my very first contact with them.”

“Independent Cottages is the best thing that happened to us this year. We would recommend them to any one who wants to launch their holiday let business or property. Sarah and Steve were amazing from the beginning, responding to all our messages and enquiries almost immediately. They helped with the wording and description of our property on their website perfectly. As a result, we are now almost fully bookings (14 weeks) to end of August. Furthermore we feel the website is well structured and user friendly, we feel in full control of our business when using it. Couldn't rate Independent Cottages any higher.”

She assisted greatly in the setting up process, which was quick and efficient and we were very pleased with our property advert. The website is excellent, particularly the Owners portal which is user friendly and provides a wealth of information and templates to make the booking process seamless and efficient. Handling your own property can be daunting but Independent Cottages takes all the hard work away, offering a great service at a very reasonable cost.”

“Very pleased so far - setup was straightforwards and efficient. Any tweaks and changes quickly sorted out and we have received 2 confirmed bookings with deposits paid within 7 days of going live. Long may it continue but so far so good and easily worth the setup and annual fees. We much prefer this model of fixed fee advertising and no commission - we would have paid more in commission on our first booking than we have paid for a year on this site. Woudl definitley recommned to other owners.”

“Our holiday home was established in 2001 and as a family we have used Independent Cottages for the past 5 years. During that period it has increasingly become our major source of presenting our holiday home, previously having used a local authority network with an indifferent take up from that source. Our property is well-liked and at least 50% of guests come on a regular basis with the result that vacancies are keep low. We receive many new referrals per season from IC. This past 12 months has been difficult for managing accommodation due to lockdown and the possibility of virus contamination and Sarah from IC has been a real help in understanding the work-out of legislation to keep our guests and staff safe via information on the owners website, by personal advice on the phone and by the arrangement of zoom meetings that enabled an interchange of opinion and practice with fellow holiday accommodation providers. We would confidently recommend IC to anyone seeking a platform advert for their holiday property.”
