“The online portal is easy to use and with the trick box’s you let you know when I’m you have finished with one part is great. I do think may be a few short videos might help others that find in hard to seat a read constantly. But apart from that it was well worth doing and a big eye open in to IOSH and health and safety.”

“I recently completed the IOSH Managing Safely and found the training to be well planned and informative and I have learnt a lot. A great course and an easy way to learn with being able to do it at my own pace either in work or at home.”

“Good points are that it is online and can be accessed at any time to suit your schedule. Bad points are : 1. you cant get print out of the slides to you must n=be in front of an electronic device to get access to the notes. 2. End of course assignment has to be e-mailed to tutor but there is no acknowledgement of receipt, it just seems to go into a black hole with no feedback.”

Many thanks for your feedback William, it is appreciated. To answer the points you make: (1) It is a condition of the license that we have with the course approval body that we have to operate in that way. We will keep it under review though. (2) The assessment is in two parts. The online test (which you can see the results as soon as you complete the course) and the project (that gets emailed to all our tutors). Whichever tutor marks the project sends an acknowledgement/feedback to the email address that was used to send the project in. This takes place within 24 hours of receipt. However, it can sometimes be blocked by a customers' spam filter/firewall. I have checked with our tutors and the acknowledgement/feedback was sent from Sam Blow. Sam will resend it to you today so you have a copy for your records. It may be beneficial to add ' @hsqe.co.uk ' to your safe senders list to make sure it gets through. I hope that helps.

“The HSQE IOSH Managing Safely and additional units were very beneficial to my learning, they were clearly laid out and the content was concise and easy to follow. The mock exams at the end of a unit were good to test what i'd learnt. Having a project and test at the end of the course was also very good as it not only tested my knowledge of the unit but also allowed me to put it into practice by submitting a risk assessment. All in all a great course, well worth the time and money.”

“I thought the content was good. One slight annoyance is that you can't pick up where you left off, you have to go through all the slides to find where you were.”
