“The HSQE IOSH course was a great reminder of all the dangers before/during/post construction of a project, it defined the roles very well of each person involved within a project. The course went into detail of the dangers of site and specific topics like asbestos dangers - all very prevalent issues.”

“Used them for staff training for a wide variety of courses, easy to use and informative courses just used them for my iosh managing safely course where it was really simple to complete when I had spare time!”

“I found HSQE LTD courses to be very well laid out and easy to understand. The courses were very good value for money and very convenient to be able to do in the comfort of my own surroundings. I would definitely recommend this to others who want to learn from home.”

“All very good, as explained and was straight forward to complete the course content. Not sure though if it would have helped if you should send students some literature/book on Managing safely for guidance and help throughout. Some of the questions in the final exam can be a little mis leading. Otherwise, fantastic and thanks.”

“I found the courses to be appropriate for the teaching that was given. However some of the courses are so long and i the same format that they do get a bit tedious, for example the IOSH certificate has an endless supply of powerpoints.”

Thank you for your feedback. The IOSH course that you did is one of our longer courses and does therefore involve quite a bit of work. We’ve included interactive elements, tests and exercises to break it up where we can, but the syllabus is quite extensive and does require us to cover it all. As you also did other courses in the bundle, there is a degree of overlap on common elements, such as risk assessment and risk control.

“Really enjoyed the course and found it very educating. I thought I knew with my work experience, most of the risks and safety precautions, but once I completed the individual courses, I have learnt so much more and the very importance of ensuring myself, my work colleagues and anybody that comes onto our site are adhering health and safety. “Enjoyed the course as I could take it my own pace. The course content was thorough and questions challenging. I took time over the assessment as I was changing employers and wanted to get the right area to assess. The allowance of 180 days to get the project completed seemed excessive, however in my case it provided sufficient time to get all completed.”

Thank you for your feedback Anita. That is a pretty in-depth course that you did with typical study times between 16 and 24 hours and as such it does involve a lot of content. We try to balance written content, interaction and testing based on the governing body’s requirements and customer feedback. The prevailing trend at present suggests that we have the optimum balance, but we will keep your comments and will check it again at the next scheduled review of the course.
