“The course was very well structured and the supporting exercises really helped to enhance my learning. The support provided was timely and motivating and I have been impressed with the excellent customer service provided. “Brilliant experience. I found the whole course (IOSH Managing Safely V5.0) really comfortable, the format and way they had set it out were very user friendly. Their site was very easy to navigate and the process for submitting the final project was not difficult. The tutor I spoke with was very helpful and really understanding an issue I raised during the final project and gave me a very quick answer.”

“Having searched for there best online tutorial service, the feedback already in place for HSQE was very good. It was one of the better priced courses as well and having completed the IOSH course I have to say it was a very good system.”

“good morning i found the course to be very useful, it was easy to follow and well illustrated. however i have still not received my certificate, despite completing the course nearly two weeks ago, could you please chase this up for me. kind regards paul dormer”

Thank you for your feedback Paul and sorry for the delay in getting the certificate to you. We are experiencing delays at present due to the coronavirus outbreak and associated restrictions. This is affecting the speed with which we are getting paper copies of certificates from IOSH and our ability to post them via the Post Office once we receive them. Rest assured, We will get it out as soon as it is possible, and safe, to do so. In the mean time, we can scan you an electronic copy of the certificate as soon as we receive it from IOSH. We appreciate that is not ideal, but I hope that helps.

“Signed up for E-Learning as away on tour and the course was exactly what I needed, easy to follow and Tutor was great when I asked for help, only thing I would recommend is when you complete the exercise issue they email you a template to see how you did. But fantastic company and 95% pass.”

Many thanks for your feedback Paul. We're always happy to give feedback on any exercises that students complete and send us. But as they tend to be context-specific to each student, it's difficult to show a templated example that is relevant to the wide range of backgrounds that our students have. Also, we must be careful not to lead the student towards a certain way of completing the forms as that could potentially compromise the project that they submit at the end of the course. But rest assured, when the final project is submitted to us, we always give feedback if it doesn't attract enough marks to be awarded a pass. All that said, thanks again for your feedback, it’s appreciated. And well done for passing the course.

“A lot of the exam questions were 'fill in the blank' in a sentence. This type of question can easily be guessed by just looking at the grammar of the sentence and requires absolutely no knowledge of the subject. Ie from the four options, often only one of the words makes grammatical sense in that sentence so that has to be the right answer. You could easily pass the exam without understanding any of the content of the course. Disappointed- with the cost of the course I would have expected stronger assessment methods.”

Many thanks for your feedback. The question bank in that course is set by IOSH (the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health) and so they are not within our direct control. The questions used during the assessment are selected at random from that question bank. We’ve looked at a sample of recent assessments and found that, on average, that type of question appeared about 5 to 15% of the time. Of course, by the nature of selecting questions randomly, you may have had more than the average number. We will however pass your comments on to IOSH.

“HSQE as a provider have been great. No issues at all and very swift with the emails of what was required in order to complete the course. I did however have issues with the platform used to do tests on - vitalskills. For some reason it became quite slow and buggy even with super fast broadband. But would recommend HSQE to friends.”

Many thanks for your feedback Patrick. Could you please give us some more information about when your access speed slowed and what device you were using at the time? We've run some basic diagnostic checks across all of our software applications on all our servers and we haven’t found any major fluctuations in access speed or performance. If you can provide us with that information, we’ll run some more targeted checks to see if we can spot what could have happened. We’ll then see if there is anything we can do to prevent a reoccurrence for anyone else. Thanks once again, your feedback is appreciated.
