“I found I coukd do the course at my own pace , whilst still being able to work. I would OK liked a Copy of the slides to keep as they would be useful in my job position. I have dyslexia and strgle sometimes reading. Or have it so learners can listen to the slides. Please don't feel I'm being picky because I did value the course very much.it will help me now in looking at areas of development with the business. Thank you so much for having me access the training with you.”

“The course was very comprehensive and well structured. My only disappointment was that it mentions Regulations, which have since been updated - e.g., CDM 2007 instead of 2015, which has made me question whether all the information is up to date.”

Thank you for your feedback. Well spotted! CDM 2007 was mentioned in a case study in one of the courses that you undertook with us. The actual prosecution that the case study referred to took place a considerable time after the original incident, meaning that CDM 2007 was in place at the time of the incident, but CDM 2015 was in place when the prosecution actually concluded. In these circumstances, the prosecution is made under the regulations that were in force at the time, hense why the case study refers to CDM 2007 and not CDM 2015. We can see how this might make the case study look dated, but we feel that the lessons from the incident in the context of the thing we were explaining still warrented its inclusion. Rest assured though, we do regularly update our courses and we will update that case study when there is a similar prosection made under the 2015 version of the regulations.

“Thank you, I really enjoyed the IOSH Managing Safely course. I sometimes struggle to stay focused when content is delivered from lectures. Being able to work at my own pace really helped, and separating the content into smaller modules so that I could go back to content I was less familiar with was especially useful. Thanks”

“Straight forward and well-supported course, delivered in a logical and sensible format. Ran very smoothly, and delivered exactly as expected. I found this preferable to the classroom-based version of this course which I sat through last time I did this but would suggest that time, space, self-discipline and peace and quiet are required in order to work through the course effectively.”
