I purchased a replacement controller for an electric blanket that was still working fine except that one of the two controllers had died. The Homefront website indicated that the controller in question was suitable for ACHNW models. Ours is an ACHNWK - the K presumable indicating King Size. Delivery was prompt & without problems but when the controller arrived the plug was not compatible with our electric blanket - purchased 2012/3 so perhaps the pins have changed since? It would have been useful to have known this in advance as without a husband handy with electrical tools & who managed a work around I would still have half an electric blanket! Having said that I'm pretty happy with the fact that the original item has lasted so well & that spare parts are available.

I’m sorry Homefront but the electric blanket purchased has been a real disappointment. Previous electric blankets, unfortunately not British, heat up in the time it takes to brush my teeth; this one takes about 2 hours to reach the same temperature ! The only reason I haven’t been in touch is that in your returns small print you state that returns are not possible if product has been used. Of course, unless you use an electric blanket it is impossible to find whether it works satisfactorily. So unhappily I’m not a satisfied customer.

Bought the more expensive electric (super kingsize) blanket expecting something superior but disappointed it is not half as good as the previous model. I think makers have tried to better the product but failed in quality and have changed for the sake of change had two of the previous models and was completely satisfied the model will not but another and I don't recommend this one
