“Ruth designed and made a stunning diamond pendent for my partner’s 30th birthday. Ruth supported me every step of the way, helping me with the concept and sketching possibilities, and then keeping me informed every step of the way. The result is a beautiful piece of jewellery of superb craftsmanship, which my partner loves and has not taken off. So impressed by the service I received from Ruth, I entrusted her and her team, to repair and service my late father’s watch, a hugely sentimental piece to me. Again, I was treated to another personalised and effortless experience. I would 100 percent recommend Heirloom London, and I will definitely be returning to Ruth and her expertise for future jewellery purchases.”

“I had a broach which I wanted incorporated into a necklace. I had an idea in my head about how it would look but I needed a drawing to make sure we were both thinking along the same lines. Ruth Donaldson produced several options which were drawn to scale. We had three face-to-face meetings during the design process. Costs were discussed at every stage. She was meticulous in taking it step by step and the finished article was exactly as I expected.........wonderful!”

“Ruth was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. She guided me expertly through the process of having a complicated antique ring remodelled, communicating swiftly and clearly every step of the way. I particularly appreciated her frankness and honesty, and the different options (with different prices) she presented. Ruth sourced expert craftsmen I could never have found on my own. The work was done quickly and to an incredibly high standard. Honestly, I can hardly believe the results--they far exceeded my expectations. Ruther is a consummate professional and also a truly lovely person. I am so grateful to her and would recommend her to anyone. Thank you, Heirloom!”

“I was unable to wear my engagement and wedding rings as they had become too small but Heirloom London combined both rings to make one beautiful ring that not only fits but was the design I had always wanted. Brilliant advice and care and attention throughout, excellent quality and workmanship. The personal service from Ruth was very much appreciated and the ring was presented in a beautiful box and gift bag. Will definitely use Heirloom London again and can’t recommend them highly enough.”

“In the beginning, I googled and found the website which seemed very friendly and approachable. I met Ruth in person and had a very detailed and careful discussion about my requirements. Essentially I wanted to combine my wedding ring and my late husband's ring into one ring. We discussed several ideas and came up with the final version which included engraving to match my engagement ring. This has given the whole ring a style all of its own while keeping sight of the original rings. Received the finished ring yesterday, again from meeting Ruth in person and I couldn't be more thrilled with it.”

“I was looking for a jeweller that I could trust to repair and restore a small inherited Fabergé egg and who would suggest the perfect gold chain to go with it. Heirloom provided beautiful and caring craftsmanship alongside exceedingly good client relations. “My husband and I contacted Ruth last year as, due to complications with my knuckle, I was no longer able to wear my wedding ring. Ruth was really friendly from the start and professional throughout. We talked through our ideas and the options available and we decided to have the CliQ mechanism fitted into my existing ring. Ruth kept us updated at each stage and helped us feel at ease - nothing was too much trouble. We are over the moon that I can now wear my wedding ring. “Ruth made the a process that I had previously been stressed about incredibly easy. There was a set process from start to finish but it never felt formulaic at any point. Ruth listened to my comments both through the design and production stages of the ring and always seemed to guess exactly what I meant when I didn’t have the correct descriptive terms to hand! She was always quick to respond so I felt supported throughout the process. The results speak for themselves. Layla, my fiancée couldn’t be happier with her ring and we are already planning our wedding bands for next year with Ruth. I would, of course recommend Ruth’s services to anyone in need of a jeweller and designer and I couldn’t thank her enough for making us both very happy!”

“Fabulously personal, bespoke and boutique service resulting in something even better than my original ask. I inherited a diamond necklace that needed repairing. Not only did Ruth repair it so well that you couldn't tell - she also suggested that it could be split in to 2 pieces that could be worn together or separately giving me so many more options for its use. Absolutely delighted with the final pieces.”

“Ruth and her team created the most stunning ring. I absolutely love it! The brief was to turn a pretty solitaire diamond into an art deco Big Bling Ring, possibly with emeralds, but to leave the original stone as the “hero”, and my goodness she achieved that. Working with her was also a delight and I enjoyed the process almost as much as the result. She was very good at listening and interpreting my nascent ideas. Many thanks, Ruth!!!”

“We had a wonderful experience with Ruth last year when she helped us with our wedding bands and my engagement ring. I had an inherited ring remodelled slightly - with the gold from my other grandmother's engagement ring incorporated into the new design. Ruth guided me through the process - listening to my preferences and coming up with a beautiful design that is just perfect for me. She also went the extra mile and turned around our wedding bands very quickly when we surprised her with news we planned to have a register office wedding the following week. Highly recommend Ruth and Heirloom London.”
