“We went to Hampton Manor at the beginning of the year for a couple of nights. We got cocktails on arrival, dinner at the smoke House which was beautiful and very filling taster menu, then the next night to the mitchelin star restaurant on site for 15 course taster menu. There was wine tasting and whiskey tasting, with some lovely country walks (even if a bit boggy they gave us wellies). The staff were amazing and so helpful. Nothing was a problem. “Hampton Manor and its restaurants are a second home to us. We have been regulars for many years but Grace and Savour, David & Annette have made us Loyalists. Simply put, nowhere else we have been measures up. The setting is beautiful, interiors immaculately curated, food that is sublime, (in any of the restaurants), drinks that cater for any and all tastes, but what really makes HM stand out for us are the staff!
Welcoming, accommodating, friendly and hospitable. They remember your likes and dislikes, and always strive to go above and beyond. Nothing is too much trouble and it is always service with a smile. There is a reason we keep going back, and each time we do, we find something (or someone) else to love about the place.
We spent 2 days there last month and we felt so refreshed and re-invigorated as though we had been on holiday for a week.
Yes, it isn’t cheap, but it’s also I think reasonably priced for the experience we had, I have no complaints about anything. I swear even the blades of grass are perfect!
This is not a commission paid review, we just genuinely love the whole ethos and vibe of the place and have made so many fond memories here, from wedding anniversaries, Birthdays, to just a short escape for the weekend.
If you haven’t tried it, you are missing out, and if you do try it, make sure you tell them we sent you and ask questions and be inquisitive and I promise it cannot disappoint!
We are back here for the NYE staycation, there’s a Christmas tree up with presents underneath and a warm and cosy log burner and a selection of gifts wrapped under the tree…
