“Quite a strong tea - for me. This is the first green tea and jasmine when I could actually taste the jasmine, so very enjoyable!”

“Tea fantastic. Only 4 star as I bought these to be plastic free but each one is wrapped in a plastic bag , with a shiny inside, so was a bit annoying as they say anything shiny plastic will leach microplastics around it, even the ones made of organic matter. Could you not do ones wrapped in paper or loose?”

“Nice tea .......but you have to use a lot of tea leaves to get a decent taste. Not very economic if using every day. Not much flavour in the Assam t bags, dissapointing really as we are both big tea drinkers.”

“Really tasty tea and I like that it is the most ethical and sustainable but do they need to be individually wrapped? I would rather them loosely packed even if the sachet is compostable, it is still unnecessary waste”

“Excellent first flush Makaibari. Hampstead is the only place in the UK I've been able to find it and it is the best. Subtle, flowery and complex, a gorgeous cup of tea. The subscription option makes it very affordable too. The reason I gave 4 out of 5 stars is that I wish I could buy it in a larger package. It would be a much more environmental option. Please consider offering larger packages.”

“Absolutely love the fruit teas. Much more flavour than any others I have bought! Not quite as convinced by the breakfast tea, it doesn't brew as strong or full flavour as I normally have my cuppa.”

“Sustainability wise, your products are fantastic and as a result, I will continue buying them. My only slight issue is that the tea tastes weaker than I'm used to, even when the bag is left in for 5+minutes.”

“It's hard to find loose organic black tea and Hampstead meets this requirement. The tea tastes good, but I give it four stars because I find the leaf size too large - it clogs the teapot and doesn't release so much flavour. I therefore grind the leaves down in a food processor before using it. The price is reasonable if you buy it in bulk.”

“I have already written a review!!! Disappointed with Earl Grey - too strong and lacking bergamot. Also several packs were wrongly filled - difficult to remove from bottom of pack as lying in wrong direction!!!”
