“Kerry was quick to reply, which was helpful, and response times were generally good. However, I often found the communication difficult to deal with. Replies were regularly written in shorthand, used jargon, and at times came across as abrupt or rude. For example, I asked Fulton's for almost two weeks to request confirmation as to whether a signature had been sent. When I eventually asked for evidence that the signature had been chased, I was then sent an email showing the request had only actually been made the previous day by Fulton's. This meant my requests had been ignored, the signature hadn't been sent, and Fulton's hadn't asked for evidence that it had been sent. This contributed to delays in sale and general feelings of frustration. When I queried this, I received a summary of communications in short-hand solicitor language that did not really make sense and felt more like deflection than clarification. Ultimately, the sale completed and responses were usually quick, which I do appreciate. However, I often felt like I was being spoken to by someone who did not want, or have time, to explain what was going on. During a property transaction, clear communication matters, and not knowing where things stood made an already stressful process more stressful than it needed to be. Overall, efficient in terms of speed, but the style and clarity of communication made the process feel dismissive and somewhat unprofessional. Unfortunately, I would not use Fulton's again.”
