“The delivery and packaging was very good. However the liqueur chocolates were poor quality and expensive for what I received. The foil wrapping of each liqueur had a sticky residue and the alcohol content of each one was so low it was barely noticeable and the flavour not distinguishable. Chocolate quality itself was average. As such I do not recommend the product.”

“Purchased 4 boxes of chocolates from friars: 3 ''dessert'' collection and one ''autumn'' box. The autumn box of chocs were for me; the others for family members. ALL of the chocolates were absolutley delicious! But of course we all had our favourites. Friars are quite expensive but I am NOT complaining because this is PROPER chocolate, unlike Cadbury and other 'cheap' choc. My 20 year old daughter said, "Mum, can we have these next Christmas?" I won't be waiting that long to purchase more of these scrummy chocolates, they can have them for birthdays too! WELL DONE Friars!”

“The chocolates are fantastic. Wonderful flavours and consistent quality. Customer service is excellent - I made an error with my order and the member of staff was so helpful in correcting it. Lovely to be dealing with a family business which cares about its products and us customers.”

“Superb quality, will surely order again. Thank you Emily for making sure I entered the correct address. The only thing I see needs improvement on is the tag for the expiry date, it was placed on the same sticker as the price; its not very convenient if you are giving it as a gift.”

“Your Violet creams are the best. Having tried offerings from several other chocolate brands even a classy London grocery store Friarsare the very best according to my 90 yr old mother, who has been gifted and tasted many of them. Also we loved our free ganache penguins, thank you”

“Absolute top quality chocolates! Never mind cheaper products off the supermarket shelf these are far superior in content and presentation. Arrived quickly and safely to be thoroughly enjoyed by their recipient. Highly recommended!”

“Bought Advent calender for my daughter who is Vegan. She said the white chocolate was especially good and enjoyed all the chocolates in the advent calender. Delivery was redirected to a local post office in the end as Royal Mail couldn’t find the address???”
