Flybubble is a specialist freeflight (paragliding, hang gliding, speed flying and paramotoring) equipment retailer and distributor based in the UK. We aim to give an outstandingly personalised service to our highly valued customers. We offer a select range of the best equipment from the top freeflight manufacturers, and hold far more stock than most. This means we can offer you a great choice of new and used gear, package deals, part exchanges, custom fittings and demo flights.

We are passionate pilots, and between us love all aspects of free flying—from ridge soaring to hike-and-fly, cross country, competitions and acro—so can advise on many different styles of flying and equipment. In particular we are experts at matching pilots to equipment, and equipment to pilots!

Most of all, we care about your safety and progression as a pilot. Apart from keeping all the product information up to date on our website, so you can make better-informed decisions, we review freeflight gear, compile tips, and create articles and videos so you can benefit from our expertise and improve your flying.

Very slow to send out my new Skytraxx.

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with this valuable feedback. We truly appreciate your loyal support and want to ensure a positive experience. We are sorry that shipping from the UK to New Zealand was slower than you hoped. We take customer feedback like this very seriously so have investigated this to see what happened and what we can do to meet your expectations in future. You placed your online order on Friday 20 January 2023. The next working day was Monday 23 January, however we were unable to ship that day. We shipped your order as soon as we could - within 2 UK business days - on Tuesday 24 January, via DHL Express International to New Zealand. It was received into New Zealand on Monday 30 January 2023 and delivered to you on Tuesday 31 January 2023 at 09:03 local time. So DHL Express took 7 days to deliver to you in New Zealand from the UK. Although we would've liked you to receive your order sooner this is well within the usual order despatch and delivery times we state on our website ( https://flybubble.com/shipping-stock ): "Order despatch & delivery times (general) Once we receive your confirmed order and payment has cleared, assuming everything you've ordered is in stock, we'd usually ship your order within 3 UK business days. From then it should take a further 1-2 days to arrive in the UK or 4-10 days to arrive worldwide, assuming no unexpected delays. Sometimes it may take longer. Please allow up to 28 days for delivery. Custom orders or specialist items may take longer." We are currently not able to realistically offer faster order despatch and delivery times than this, sorry. If you choose to order from us again then please bear this in mind, thank you. If in future we are able to realistically offer faster order despatch and delivery times than this, we will. Actually we are working on offering shipping options - including premium express services for those who want their orders faster - however since we are small team (because we can't afford more staff) and we are extremely busy we have limited time left to put this in place - so it's taking longer than we'd like, but we will eventually get there. Please don't send parcels by Royal mail it took 12 working days for me to receive the goods when I purchase anything through Amazon nine times out of 10 delivered the next day

We have taken your feedback on board and already put steps in place to improve your customer experience in future. We are very sorry that your order was delayed in getting to you, and understand that you are disappointed by this (we are too). We of course want our customers to receive their orders as quickly as possible, and be 100% happy they chose to order from us. Checking the tracking history for your order, to try to understand what happened: 1. Wed 23 Nov 2022 22:59 You placed your order. 2. Thu 24 Nov 2022 17:37 We despatched your order. 3. Mon 28 Nov 2022 19:30: Item Received Gatwick MC. 4. Tue 29 Nov 2022 04:19: Item Received Bristol MC. 5. Tue 06 Dec 2022 12:42: Delivered and Signed. Due to the value of your order we used Royal Mail Tracked 24 Signature service which, based on thousands of orders over 20 years, arrives 99 / 100 within 24 hours. Unfortunately the strike action around that time caused widespread delays, affecting everyone. So your order did indeed take far longer than usual to arrive with you for this service, sorry. We are already looking into being able to offer our customers a choice of shipping carriers and service for online orders through our website. However, implementing this isn't as simple as we'd hoped, and our resources are limited. Neither is finding reliable shipping companies! We have already tried various carriers and so far none of them are 100% reliable. We tried sending orders using other couriers curing the strikes, with mixed results - some worse than Royal Mail. Actually Royal Mail and Parcelforce have so far generally proven to be the most reliable carriers, with a +99% success rate, which is why we continue to use them, even though they're not the cheapest. Unfortunately the strike action caused significant disruption, affecting everyone, including Amazon (who also use Royal Mail and Parcelforce, amongst other carriers). Since some of the most common feedback we receive from customers is that they expect shipping costs to be as low as possible, we have to prioritise offering an affordable shipping method first. However, we are working on offering our customers other upgradable shipping options as soon as possible, so you have a choice of couriers and services. We try to be as transparent as possible on what we are able to offer in terms of shipping and delivery on our website's Shipping and Stock Info page linked to from the footer of every page on our website: https://flybubble.com/shipping-stock. For example, from this: "Order despatch & delivery times (general) Your order will usually be despatched within 1-3 working days, if all items are in stock, but sometimes it may take longer. Please allow up to 28 days for delivery. Custom orders or specialist items may take longer." "Special or urgent delivery requirements If you have special or urgent delivery requirements then please check with us before placing your order. We will always do our best to accommodate your requirements within reason but please understand that sometimes it may not be possible to get the item you want by your deadline date, especially if you've placed your order at the last minute or not allowed enough time. We recommend that to avoid disappointment you always place your order as soon as possible and allow as much time as possible for unforeseen delays." "Unexpected delays en route We of course want you to be totally happy with our service and receive your order as soon as possible. We do all we can within reason to make this happen and are continually looking for better ways to serve you. However it is inevitable that some unexpected delays en route will happen e.g. unexpected shipping delays, customs delays, disruptive global events etc. We cannot of course be held responsible for these unexpected delays. Any disruption affecting shipping logistics or customs is likely to result in delivery delays, meaning your order will take longer than expected to reach its destination. These delays may continue for some time after the disruption has ended whilst those involved in the supply chain catch up with inevitable backlogs." "UK orders We use Royal Mail, Parcelforce Worldwide or other courier services for shipping orders within the UK. Royal Mail say that for UK delivery of 1st Class mail they aim to deliver the next working day including Saturdays, but this is not guaranteed. Royal Mail say that: "Items sent by 1st or 2nd Class and Royal Mail Signed For are not classed as lost until 15 working days after the due date." This is of course totally outside of our control as the actual delivery is down to Royal Mail. See the Royal Mail website for more details." Sorry again that your order was delayed in getting to you.
