“Most of the books I have received are beautiful and I love how fairyloot includes customisations such as the endpapers and the sprayed and stencilled edges which I do not have in books from other businesses. However, I also think that some of the books I have received are very similar to the original UK cover with the main difference between small change in colour - usually purple. Although the books are still pretty, I prefer the books that have a bigger difference to their original cover as they stand out more to be and make it worth spending my money on these books. Some of the books I have received have minimal changes to their original cover which made me regret not skipping the month due to this reason. I am not always fond of the items I receive in my boxes but I usually find one item I like and know I can use in the future. The customer service is also great and very useful so thank you for all help that you’ve provided!”

“I absolutely love receiving your monthly boxes and finding out what will be in them every time. Sometimes it can be a bit annoying when the tracking link doesn't work or update but I don't think there's something you can do about that.”

“The books have amazing quality finishes and customisations. Some of the books have been a little too much on the lower end of YA for my liking but they have all been good reads. Only some of the items have been fantastic, and I really hope that you can put together an Adult/YA book only sub!”

“My favourite book subscription, one I don’t see myself stopping any time soon! They pay so much attention to providing stunning books and great quality items and the artists they work with are so talented! My only negative, and I think it’s more personal taste, would be that a lot of the books we have received are based around Chinese culture and mythology which feels quite repetitive and if you struggle to read books based around other cultures or you just don’t enjoy reading these specifics types of books you may not want this many. But other than that they’re the best!”

“I have been subscribed to FairyLoot's young adult box since April 2021, meaning my first box was from May 2021. FairyLoot is an amazing small business to purchase from. They regularly post updates with regards to their shipping so you're always aware of when your box is expected to ship. Their boxes are nothing short of amazing. Each item is created with such detail and good quality materials. The books are spectacular and always have something extra to them such as coloured or stencilled edges, artwork on the reverse of the dust jacket or the endpapers and even foil embossing on the hardcover. Not to mention it is signed by the author. I have recently signed up to receive their adult book-only subscription and I can't wait for that. Finally, they often sell other items separately in their fairy trove. In the past, they have sold past boxes and previous books, separate to their subscriptions, and I have been fortunate to pick up a few of these. In short, a wonderful small business catering to bookworms everywhere.”

“Fairyloot is an absolute joy to have every month, I’m a subscriber to their YA monthly box and I have never yet been disappointed, the special edition books are unrivalled, with foil undercover art, beautiful end papers and exclusive covers the book alone is well worth it but the item that come with it are also top quality. My favourite items include socks, book sleeves and one box even came with a blanket! Items are well sourced and fit bookish fandoms but fairyloot never forget to link items to books that don’t have a huge following. If your looking for a way to support a small business as well as authors this is the way to do it! The team keep subscribers up to date and you we have early access to other special and limited editions before public release. This is likely the only indulgence I give myself each month and I never regret it!”

“This box is honestly the highlight of my month! It can be considered expensive but it is actually good value for money so I can justify making my bank account cry every three months. The trinkets are fantastic and never the same which I love, even better if they're household items! The books are amazing! The quality, the art, the themes! It's really helped me try new authors and sub genres in YA fantasy which I can't be more thankful for!”

“Fantastic company with very good book choices. My main gripe is their book conditions from time to time. I feel more care should be taken in preventing book damage, perhaps using bubblewrap instead of a sleeve? A book only option would also be a huge benefit.”
