“Fairyloot does a great job of choosing out books and their themes for each mo th. That being said, some of the items come across a little cheap and/or childlike. Whether this be from items not having the extra threads cut off etc.”

“Fairyloot has the most beautiful book editions! I love that they almost always do either sprayed edges or stenciling on their books. I really like the items that come in the boxes as well. I recently had a missing item in my box, and Customer Service was very quick responding to my email. They are replacing the item, and it was very easy contacting them. I would absolutely recommend them if you are interested in YA fantasy books.”

“I love getting my FairyLoot boxes! All of the products are of good quality and I actually use them- they don’t just take up room. The email updates are fun and informative. The books themselves are like treasure: each one unique and beautiful (my shelves have never looked more fabulous.) This subscription is well worth the price. The only thing that prevents me from giving the full 5 stars is the delay in receiving each box- sometimes I do not receive mine until almost a month and change later, but I know it is primarily because of COVID.”

“I've been a FairyLoot subscriber for a few months now and I liked all the books I've received from them so far. While I don't always like all the items -- some of them are quite niche and not super useful for most people -- I still think the boxes are good value. I also really like their customer service team. They're always very polite and helpful. However, the shipping costs and taxes that we've been paying since Brexit are absolutely insane. I know that the company obviously cannot do anything about Brexit itself, but I also know other UK based book boxes have not increased their shipping costs at all. It's especially frustrating that shipping for single books is just as expensive as shipping for boxes. I would be buying a lot more of their gorgeous special editions if shipping was more affordable. Plus, their shipping company uses the most annoying service to ship to my country. Always takes ages and tracking is only more or less reliable. I've considered cancelling my subscription over this multiple times now and will unfortunately probably end up doing so eventually.”

“I really enjoy receiving this book box every month. The book selections are great and most of the bookish items are things I would use. However, I agree with another user that there are sometimes too many paper items (prints, tarot cards) that I won't use.”
