For my first exposure to EPC, I bought a selection of scents recommended after using their handy Formula Finder. I selected perfumes with ambery and woody notes. They were delivered very quickly. I've tried them out over the last week. Some are a little samey but one or two are very much to my tastes (Ambre Epices and Santal Nuit being standouts). The only issue is that they don't seem to last that long. I've been using Ambra Nera by Ortigia which is still going strong at the end of the day, whereas Ambre Epices has faded to being barely detectable after 5-6 hours.

The scents are good, i just tried the sample set from the signature collection, but they could have a stronger performance for my taste , specially on the sillage.

Hi Willy, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review for the Discovery Set (Signature Collection); we appreciate your feedback! I hope you enjoyed the range. Our scents are all Eaux de Parfum at a high concentration (over 20% fragrance oil), which ensures a strong performance and longevity. You may, however, find that certain fragrances have less longevity and sillage than others; this is due to the formula containing more top notes (for example citrus) than base notes. Top notes will be fresh and bright, but fleeting, as they are more volatile: this is the simple nature of their molecular chemistry. Mid (or heart) to base notes will last a little longer as they are 'heavier'/bigger molecules, and thus stay longer on the skin or clothing. You will notice this difference between Citrus oil, Rose oil, and Cedarwood oil - even when not diluted in alcohol. This is why you may find the Velvet Incense is more fleeting, whereas Ambre Epices has a long hold. I hope this all makes sense, but please feel free to get in touch with us if you have any queries. Love from Team EPC
I am new to EPC and still debating if Bergamot Incense is a good find to my collection. I was intrqued by the smell via sample, just wish the spray bottles were bigger 100mls.
