“Stopped in early this week while visiting London and the salesperson who helped us, Axel, was an absolute delight. Talked us through the philosophy of the brand, how different notes exist in their simple forms va blends and helped me pick out a signature sample that was a perfect combo of Bergamot sandalwood and musk. Will absolutely be ordering again, and will recommend an in store experience to anyone visiting London!”

“The most phenomenal chance find in the beautiful Seven Dials. The perfumes themselves are something else - I have a couple already and they've fast become my favorites for their uniqueness, sillage, and beautiful development during drydown. Even more commendable is the incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and friendly staff who will take their time to tailor your olfactory experience and make sure you leave with a scent you couldn't possibly find on the high street. I've made a habit to pay a visit every time I'm in town. I hope next time I'll manage to book a workshop too!”

“I visited the EPC stop a bit sceptical, as I’m just not a ‘perfume person’. Quite often designer brand perfumes make me feel quite sick and heady. Axel was very reassuring about the quality of the ingredients used in EPC perfumes and I tried a few scents on for a couple of hours. I absolutely loved them, and had no adverse effect from the perfumes at all. I returned to buy Santal Nuit which is just dreamy! Such unique smells that I just haven’t experienced anywhere else. I’m in love with my new perfume and will definitely be returning! Thank you”

“Wonderful long lasting scents, I went for Velvet Incense as I’ve been on the hunt for years that would leave me smelling like a cathedral (In the best possible way!!) It came in wonderful sleek packaging with the cutest mini bottle to try the scent before you crack into the main event! It was super helpful as this was a blind buy I can’t wait to see what else this perfumer has in stock and maybe I’ll have to make the trek to London to visit them in person!”

“Dear Em & Team, I have completed the Fundamentals of Perfume creation Chapter 1. so far. The ingredients came with some weeks late (no problem) and the summer holidays, plus the wish to study the ingredients well resulted in that I have completed the course just now. First of all I feel very fortunate that I found YOU, I have been always very sensitive to scents and smells and using this sense consciously should be taught at school, we would all be happier. Second of all the course is very well built, easy to follow, gives us enough support and leaves room for own creativity as well. The typography is lovely, clean and all hand-out materials, mood photos, etc. are very beautiful and help the cognition process. The Q&A session (pre-recorded or online) are both great, scheduled in time. I love the summary part at the end of the course as well. The quiz result - I have gone through it several times - made me unhappy. Any right answer key available? I would have some questions, requests for future work, understanding: - are there any blends which will definitely not work out right, therefore not recommended to use (e.g. in flavours lemond juice and ground poppy seed will be bitter). I was creating a rose perfume for my mother-in-law as a b'day gift and could not get rid of the laundry-like smell. Which made me very unhappy. "Rosalinda" Top 25% (Cassis 8%, Cis-3 Hex 3%, Petit grain 5%, Lemon 9%), Mid 50% Rose abs 15%, Rose accord own 8%, Florol 8%, Hedione 15%, Geranium oil 4%), Base 25% (Labdanum 6%, Ambroxan 10%, Iso-E super 4%, Cedarwood 5%). Is it due to Ambroxan or Iso-E super or else? - some slides are not sharp towards the end of the course (no real problem, just a feedback) - once a 78% is miswritten 88% on your "Velvet Floriental" formula sheet (no real problem either) - any way to use the plastic pipettes again (only for environmental consideration)? - can glass be fully cleaned (hot boiling water) from scent molecules? Or is it suggested to use the same pipette for the same scent? - I would love to understand how we can test a finished formula on our skin? What can be a fairly objective benchmark? How can professional noses judge the very subjective sensory reception of a new scent by consumers? A have already my 2nd and 3rd Course materials, so I am very much looking forward to going on this beautiful sensual path I have stepped on a few months ago ;)”

Hi Willy, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review for the Discovery Set (Signature Collection); we appreciate your feedback! I hope you enjoyed the range. Our scents are all Eaux de Parfum at a high concentration (over 20% fragrance oil), which ensures a strong performance and longevity. You may, however, find that certain fragrances have less longevity and sillage than others; this is due to the formula containing more top notes (for example citrus) than base notes. Top notes will be fresh and bright, but fleeting, as they are more volatile: this is the simple nature of their molecular chemistry. Mid (or heart) to base notes will last a little longer as they are 'heavier'/bigger molecules, and thus stay longer on the skin or clothing. You will notice this difference between Citrus oil, Rose oil, and Cedarwood oil - even when not diluted in alcohol. This is why you may find the Velvet Incense is more fleeting, whereas Ambre Epices has a long hold. I hope this all makes sense, but please feel free to get in touch with us if you have any queries. “While I am mostly happy with the product, the experience with the underfilled vials has really ruined the experience. Not only one of the vials was under the level, but when it was brought to the EPC's attention, we were persuaded that the levels were correct. After further investigation, we did manage to show that the levels were wrong. This means that when responding to us, the EPC representative either did not care enough to take a good look at the pictures or lied to us. Neither of those is part of the experience that I hoped to have.”

Hi Oleksii, We are sorry to hear about your disappointing experience with this product. As explained to you on our customer service emails, the ingredients you received are filled at the correct level of 2.5ml (some vials are even filled at higher levels). This leaves a visible "air" gap which is allowing for what's called "liquid expansion", something that all perfumes and perfume products will take into consideration as overfilling bottles may result in leakage during shipment and transportation. We indeed found through the pictures you sent that one vial out of the 60 you received was slightly under-filled (the difference in filling was quite minimal) and we did offer you a solution of replacement for this specific vial. We are sorry to hear this solution was not satisfying for you however, we are only able to replace faulty products or offer refund once returning unopened products. After analysing your request, we did not find the product we sent you was faulty. You can however always decide to return it if you would like :) Best wishes The EPC customer care team
