“Wow, what an experience I had at The Event Academy! I am Kenyan and currently reside in Kenya and I was looking into joining the Events Industry but wanted to differentiate myself from others. Therefore I was adamant in upskilling my experience with a certificate and not just locally but from an international standpoint. When I saw that EA are accredited by CIM, that was my cue to enroll. The courses were well planned out and gave a global view on how to carry yourself as a professional. I definitely recommend EA to anyone who wants to expand their mindset in the Events space, be professional and have a global touch to how they operate in the Events Industry.”

“The Event Academy experience was 10/10 from start to finish. Everyone who is a part of the Academy from Claire (founding director) to Rosie & Becs (course leaders), ALL lectures and student services team are extremely knowledgeable in their sector and have a passion to share everything they know with their students helping them to learn, grow and succeed in the events world. I took the 2 week intensive course and although as promised, it is intense - it is totally worth it and I couldn’t recommend enough!”

“I had the best time on the course, I learnt so much and I wish I could do it all over again! I really can't wait to see what the future for me holds in Events and I hope to be able to continue to use all the confidence, knowledge and experience from the course in my career! The lecturers were all so amazing and we only had one lecture that was rescheduled due to illness which is pretty incredible! The group of us on the course we were all very supportive of each other and I wish we could of had some more time together - but we are keen to keep our network going and regularly meet up!”

“stretched my brain, learnt things i never knew, brilliant support from customer service, nothing was too much trouble for them. Overall a very exciting course. my only one comment is that it would be nice to have a breakdown of results, ie. exam percentage and leave behind documents percentage.”

“Wow! Such an amazing organisation, team and course - it felt more like a family than a curriculum by the end of it. So well organised from beginning to end, each aspect was clearly communicated - with a helpful online portal to access info as you need it. All the team and lecturers would go the extra mile to make sure you get the most out of it. The two-week intensive diploma is a brilliant mixture of practical, up-to-date, learning from industry experts, who are currently working in their fields of event expertise (quite literally for festivals 🙃) & well thought-out interactive theory, which will equip anyone to be ready to go straight into a job in the world of event management. This is honestly a brilliantly crafted course, delivered by a massively supportive, knowledgeable and pastoral team - if you’re willing to put a couple of weeks aside to invest in this at the start of your career or during a transition between careers / projects - it will make a world of difference, thanks so much to everyone involved!”

“I found the Postgraduate Diploma extraordinary. There was the academic side for the first 3 months, including 3 projects where we pitched a certain type of event (in groups) to real clients and organised a big fundraising event. For the last 3 months, we did a work placement. It's thanks to the Event Academy that I received my first Marketing job/opportunity and proceeded to become Marketing Manager. I worked in events for 6 years and recently I decided to change industry to build on more experience and skills. All the lecturers were helpful, and insightful and guided us through and through. Plus, I'm still friends with with ex-classmates to this day. Thank you Event Academy!”

“Amazing - a lot of hard work, but it is so well structured, taught and delivered that it worked really well. Even though my course was entirely online, it felt really supportive and dynamic, and we built rapport with tutors and other students from twice weekly sessions. Tutors give a lot of energy and really care about your learning journey. Highly recommend!”

“The Event Academy has literally changed my life.... I made a huge career U-turn decision and moved away from working as a medic to become an event professional. My goal was to be happier and healthier and follow a passion and it's been so much more. The guidance and support even after I graduated has been second to none and if you are considering doing a course I would not think twice. My time at the event academy allowed me to get hands on, not just on the course itself, but also as a result of the amazing volunteer hub. Did I mention I got to meet Louis Theroux?! Prior to studying at the event academy I was not getting noticed in the world of work. Now I am really enjoying working in a full time conference production role that excites me. I get to put everything I learnt into practice and I still have so many contacts in my network from my time studying the intensive diploma. I couldn't be happier (or more grateful). 100% worth the trip from Scotland and the money!”

“Teenage Cancer Trust is lucky to have The Event Academy as a dedicated long term partner. This fantastic team has raised over £150,000 to support young people with cancer. Led by extremely talented tutors, their students organise fundraising events as part of their course. We are blown away by the professional and original events they turn round over a short space of time, each one raising significant funds and bringing innovate ideas to the table. Students also volunteer at numerous Teenage Cancer Trust events, helping the charity to generate much needed funds. Working with such a wonderful partner over such a long period, has allowed us to develop a really strong and effective relationship and it makes everyone at Teenage Cancer Trust very happy indeed! More than that, their impact for young people going through treatment for cancer is huge. Thank you!”

“I completed the Intensive Diploma and loved every second. Since the course and being able to add my qualification to my CV, I have been flying high in my career within the events industry. “I decided to join the postgraduate course in Events Management very last minute but couldn't be happier with my decision. Unlike my undergraduate degree where most of my lecturers didn't know my name, the lecturers and course director are there to support you every step of the way and give regular and constructive feedback throughout. Particularly valuable was the help given with job applications including interview skills. I have learnt so much and feel thoroughly prepared for a career in events. I can't wait to start my internship in April!”
