“I purchased this item due to a long term issue with my ankle ( class 3 sprain). this is the third time in 20 years this has happened and have tried various ankle supports over the years. This is the best one I have purchased and would definately recommend this item for anyone who suffers with a unstable ankle . I do find that the lacing /unlacing of the item a bit fiddely though but, it`s a minor issue considering how well the support works.”

We hear you about the lacing and unlacing, however, it's the best way to get a consistent level of compression all the way up the foot that is also flexible enough to fully unlace in order to place a really painful and/or swollen foot inside. We thought it was a small price to pay in order to provide the best support. You might want to consider wearing a lighter and more flexible ankle support as you near full recovery, especially if you engage in activities that are likely to cause a re-injury.
