“We have mixed views on our recent purchase. DIY kitchens was recommended to us by a friend, and we found that the customer service was excellent. The price of the kitchen in comparison to other kitchen companies was also very pleasing. However, I would strongly recommend paying extra for the delivery service as ours turned up on a sat night when all the builders had left, so it was left on the roadside for me and my husband to lift in, and they are heavy units. You also don’t get any warning when out of stock items are turning up. I got a phone call to say they were outside wanting to deliver my freezer, but yet I was 150miles away. We also wouldn’t recommend the painted cupboards as they do chip easily. So on the plus side, they are a good price with good customer service, but on the downside, the deliveries were terrible and the overall quality is not the best.”
