John Delany Motors was established in 1980 and has grown to be the largest independent garage in Stockport. We service, repair and maintain any make or model of vehicle.

“The quote I received here for my timing chain replacement was £100 less than quoted at other garages I had tried. The job was done quickly with no extra things added on. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the waiting room was smart and clean. Would definitely recommend.”

“First time using John Delany Motors and it was a good experience. Servicing a car can be intimidating for some. JDM take a lot of that anxiety away because they do their homework in advance. That have access to online service book for most of the manufacturers and are therefore able to focus on what needs doing. I have a Mercedes and a key factor in choosing JDM is the fact they can access the "STAR" system to both review and update my service book. These days this information is all held online and visible through the "Mercedes Me" portal. I was also impressed with the before and after "XENTRY" scan printouts I was presented with. The car was worked on in a timely manner and I was called when it was ready. The car was returned to me after a thorough wash which made it look even more presentable. All staff are thoroughly knowledgeable and I got the impression that they weren't in the business of creating work for themselves and driving the cost of your service up. Next year I will be more organised and get my MOT and service done together. That wasn't possible this year because they are limited to how many MOTs they can conduct in a given day because of the ratio of testing/servicing bays. Highly recommend.”
