“this is the 4th time that I have used decorating direct, I am renovating an old period house and am installing new ceiling roses in each room. The quality and choice of the roses is the best on the market, being made of resin they are light and easy to install, the detail is fabulous. Highly recommended.”

“I bought a 5 litre tub of X-Tex so that I could safely remove the artex on my bathroom ceiling. This stuff is amazing and does exactly what it's supposed to do. Scrapping the worst off with a paint scrapper and then washing down with a wet cloth, the ceiling looks great. With this in mind, I volunteered to do a kitchen ceiling without so much success. This ceiling had been painted with vinyl paint over the top of the artex. The X-Tex was unable to penetrate the paint and so the artex is still in place. If you have got an artexed ceiling that has just been painted with regular emulsion, this product is brilliant. If there is any vinyl paint on it, be prepared for a very long and boring job. Also be aware that early types of artex contained asbestos so don't even think about using a sander etc. Hope this helps anyone who's thinking of buying the product. As an aside, delivery from Decorating Direct was very quick.”

“Quick delivery, not had a chance to test the small rollers yet due to other things getting in the way but not many retailers in this country sells 2 inch (5cm) paint rollers! Quick, reasonably (not the cheapest but not subsidised in merchandise prices) priced delivery is a bonus.”
