“Rick was helpfull but as I said Imyself did not give permission for any money to be taken from my bank account as Rick said a third party gave him my details and i thought it was a.one off check with the third-party so i would be gratefully if you could give me a.full refund and.cancel my account of which I had no idea i had and don't pass my details on to anyone thanks”

“The credit report that Credit Angel provided was detailed and very helpful. They offer a free trail wich is also good. The only downside is even though I cancelled my membership within enough time not to be charged, I was still charged the following month which was quite an inconvenience.”

Dear Katie, The free credit reports you refer to are only updated on a monthly basis where as our credit reports are live meaning they are constantly updating every minute. Also on our membership area you have access to your social score which is a new concept lenders across the UK are using make their lending decisions as well as thousands of online saving vouchers and much much more. “Trying to log-in to my account was difficult , everytime I pressed log-in it kept bringing up the sign up for new members so spent quite a lot of time trying to access my account. This really needs looking into. Although the first 30 days are free I have been charged £1.00 and only signed up on 7th August - no notification from the company for why this money was taken.”

The £1 payment you refer to is a validation fee which is taken from the card once an application is completed then automatically refunded; the payment is essential to obtaining your credit report and is advised in our Terms and Conditions. We apologise if you were experiencing technical issues when attempting to log into your account. These issues were occurring due to an update to our website late last week were we have added the availability to access your Social Score through Credit Angel. Social Scoring is a new concept used by lenders across the UK to help make their lending decisions. “Its good however, it appears there seems to be no advice on how to help improve your score and you have to do digging yourself to find out what has made your score low. would give 5 star if it had these features. however i am impressed with how cheap you are and everything else.”

“Although getting a credit rating was useful I did not find the process user friendly. Entering a postcode was the first stumbling block then entering a pin which I hadn't received then trying to phone customer service which was closed. So to sum it up I would like to cancel immediately.”

Dear Tracey, Thank you for your constructive comments. We apologise that the email containing your PIN was not received; if you were to click "forgotten my PIN number" this will mean another email containing a new PIN will be sent to you within 5 minutes. I will look into why the email was not received with the credit reference agency Call Credit Limited who provide the PIN's for security purposes. “I was very disappointed to see my credit score was low and credit card balances still showing, when i paid them off weeks ago. Really thought my Nil balances would have greatly improved my score.”

In regards to your comments it can take a creditor up to 6 weeks to update their records to reflect alterations to your account at which point the changes will be reflected on your credit report; unfortunately this is something we cannot control and is standard practice for UK Credit Reference Agencies. “Hi Credit Angel, I will like to draw your attention to the fact that there is no where in on your site where one can easily cancel `after the free period. I tried getting across to someone this evening to cancel but your automated voicemail said your offices were closed. I tried your website but could not find a place to cancel. I hope you will not charge my card for not cancelling earlier today as today is the last day for me to cancel. When I speak to someone tomorrow, I will write a new feedback. Thank you”
