"So pleased to have received my Gabor (slightly wider) shoes and in my correct size.\r\nI rarely find both both width and correct length size together and often have to buy a larger pair that are too long. With these shoes there is no issue, comfortable and well fitting, makes such a difference. Charles Clinkard is my preference for all footwear purchases, for my husband and two sons too. All different sizes but all purchased with pleasure from Charles Clinkard.\r\nThank you "

“I ordered two pairs of the ‘Helen Womens Sports Trainers’ in the colour Visone Nubuck, one for myself in size 6 and one for my sister in size 5.5. Unfortunately, what I received was the correct pair for myself along with, what I think must be, a pair of ‘Aloe Womens Trainers’ in the colour Antique Rose in size 5.5, i.e. I was sent a different style AND colour from the one I ordered. There is even a mismatch in the label for the latter pair of trainers as this is for a Helen Visone Nub/Mesh. While the style and colour are possibly just about similar enough to explain the mix up, it means that I now have the inconvenience of spending time dealing with the return for the shoes intended for my sister, taking it to the post office (as it’s over £50 in value) and having to argue about getting a refund for the correct amount of money including the money spent for returning an incorrect item. I will leave feedback with Trustpilot once I have completed the return. I gave 2 out of 5 Stars, as I do like the ‘correct’ trainers I ordered for myself and they are well-made and comfortable.”

I have reviewed all our methods of communication, but unfortunately, it appears we were unaware of this before now. Can you please confirm we're referring to your purchase from July 2023? “Whilst I received a full refund the quality of the shoes sent to me was very poor. I ordered two pairs of the same make, just different sizes. One pair came in a large brown box, with very little tissue paper. The leather upper was coming away from the sole. It was clear from looking at the sole someone had worn these 'outside' that there were small stones and hair trapped in the tread.”

“The boots are lovely and I am very pleased with them but the packaging was not up to your usual standard. One boot had its leg folded in half and the box they were in was very tatty indeed . It had a rip in it and several folds across the lid”

“Attended the wetherby store the young lady was very helpful one of the boots was only available online so she sorted it all there. The boots them selves are fabulous I bought these last year in black and was so impressed went to buy some more but they were all out of stock. When they released this year I decided to not mess about and bought in blue and beige. They did not disappoint lovely and comfy from first wear and can walk miles while looking smart and trendy”

“Lovely sandals , comfort , I had to return first pair and size up, usually an 8 but needed a none due to one of my feet being slightly bigger than the other, I have arthritis in my feet and these are so confidant my second Paula Urban sandals loved the other ones that have the same tops but fidgeted soles ... so comfortable, arrived quickly and kept in touch through e.mail .”
