“We had our women’s retreat last October, and we had a wonderful time. I must admit that the booking process initially seemed a bit complicated and lengthy, but I soon realized that this was in place to ensure they had everything needed for the event. Both over the phone and in person, the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. The gentleman who worked the evening/night shift (I believe his name was Richard) truly went the extra mile.
Some of the rooms were basic, but they were still comfortable. The garden, lounge, and coffee break areas were really nice and cozy. The food was good overall, although I wasn't too impressed with the quality of the coffee, but you can’t have everything, right? :)
We are now planning our second retreat, and Mandy has been really helpful so far.”
“We were delighted with our visit to Highgate House with a view to hosting our next Clergy Residential there. This 17th century building in a rural setting is simply lovely. The bedrooms are of high hotel standard and the conference facilites tick all the boxes. Staff friendly and efficient and couldn't have done more. Their Chirstian ethos shines through. The rates quoted are extremely competitive and offer huge value for money. Can't recommend enough.”

“The people helping with booking are very kind and couldn't be more helpful but the booking regulations and system take some getting used to and make the booking process hard. We put up with the often adequate service at the centre and the difficulties booking as the price is affordable and location lovely.
The current booking restrictions of a minimum 24 hr period only, with no bed and breakfast price make our plans difficult. We don't know how many places to book two years in advance and this is difficult to alter nearer the time as there are often no extra places available. The miniumum booking of 12 people means we can no longer hold a course for 8 -10 people. Then there is the issue of not being able to start on a Sunday until 4pm and get into the meting room until 6pm. The booking staff have been very helpful with my latest booking but to use extra breakout rooms for an hour is not possible as there is no hourly rate. The extra charge of £5 per person to take some cakes and urns into the meeting room for our arrival seemed a lot of money.”
“We have held several events at Hayes Christian Conference Centre and their new venue, Highgate House, and both have been lovely. Accommodation was comfortable and the staff were extremely polite and friendly. For the price we paid, we felt everything was a very high quality. The food was lovely with a good range and people with special requirements well catered for.”

High Leigh is easily accessible from the city but is surrounded by acres of land making it such a tranquil and peaceful environment.
The adults and children that attend our retreats love the opportunity the site offers to switch off from day to day life to seek God but also relax.
