“Love my new prescription sunglasses! They are exactly what I wanted. I got my regular glasses from Bird a while ago and loved them. So when my sunnies broke I knew where I’d be replacing them 😎”

“You’re great, Bird is the Word! The quality of the product and the design of the sunglasses is top quality and others look great. Your tone of voice across various areas I’ve seen is very nicely thought out too. Packaging is excellent, I really don’t have anything to mark you down on, be fun if a customer could choose from a couple of cleaning cloths and cases but that’s probably asking a lot. Also, if that’s my main suggestion of how to improve you’re probably doing great. I unfortunately lost my wooden Petrel shades, I’ve bought the new black ones to make myself feel better and they’re lovely, but I do miss my old Birds. Hard to find online now, do you know any stockists? Keep soaring!”

“I don't usually do reviews. I got a pair of 'Tawnys' and the small size is a perfect fit for me at last. They look and feel like a quality item and the lenses (with polarised) give a great sun-screened view. They were so good that I immediately bought another pair - the 'Backcap' and these really are unusual - they look and feel great and getting some appreciative comments.Both times the service was prompt and the packaging classy. Highly recommended, and company has a green ethic.”

“Overall I love your sunglasses. Really good quality and appreciate the range of material and your commitment to sustainability. Being B certified was a big reason why I bought from you. Service was quick and helpful. Only comment is that I wanted to go for polarised lenses but it wasn’t immediately clear on the website how I did this. Having an option for this attached to the sunglasses you go for would help with ease.”

The choice of styles is excellent, with helpful advice from staff (online and in person as I live locally). It's great to support a local business with a sustainable ethos. “The frames were delivered quickly and I am delighted with the glasses which are really unusual and just my type of thing. Love that they are sustainable. Just watch out on your website - it didn’t let me submit my prescription because i had some measurements and not others. I had a standard eye appointment and the information from this is what I submitted. This might mean you lose some sales so worth investigating. Will definitely buy some more next time.”
