We often say when something goes wrong , how it is dealt with, is how you are judged. Well very good it is. I took delivery of a product damaged in transit . All was dealt with quickly without fuss, re delivered within 48 hrs. Special thanks to Steve Dunphy.

My web order was lost. I didn't receive any call within 48 hours so had to chase the order. Order was never sent to the store I had arranged to collect from.

I know that Laver are more used to dealing with trade customers rather than individuals but at every point they provided a good service. The delivery driver was particularly helpful.

Disappointed in first order as the item said in stock but then had a phone call to say it would be three weeks waiting. We had paid in full and it took quite a few days to get credit back where it should have been instantaneous

Never dealt with Laver before, but was pleasantly surprised by their service. I needed only one board, veneered MDF and I thought I would give them a try. The price was very competetive and, when it arrived, it was good quality. I was quoted £35 for delivery which for one board was expensive, but if I had ordered more, as I expect to in future, then the cost is less important, and they did have to come from Reading to near Romsey. The important thing is that, having ordered, I soon received a call from the depot to say that they wouldn't be delivering in my area for about a week but it would be with me on Thursday. Well, 8am Thursday morning there's the lorry outside ready to deliver !. How nice to have a promise fulfilled on time. Also, the board was very well wrapped so no damage was done in handling. All in all a good experience, and a firm to be recommended.

Easy on line ordering process followed by an e-mail detailing delivery day which was speedy with all products delivered in good order; thank you. Free local delivery would have been an enhancement.

Placed my order online Tuesday evening. I hadn't received the promised call after two days to arrange a delivery time, so called myself on the Friday. Was told at this point that my order would be delivered Wed/Thurs/Fri the following week, once the supplier had delivered to them. By Thursday the following week I'd still not heard from Laver, so called back again. My delivery would be out tomorrow, at a time that couldn't be confirmed, but I would get a call 30mins before the driver was due. That final call I did get, but if that's customer sevice and "arranging a delivery date that's best suited to me" then I'll be going elsewhere. If you say you're going to do something, do it. The wood received is also of very average quality, requiring a large amount of filling (it's laminate pine board used for shelving). Even at this price it shouldn't be so pitted. Overall, very poor and I won't be using Laver again. There's plenty of choice out there these days.

Been trying most of the day to find out when my worktops will arrive, if at all, will have to put off the kitchen fitter. On the plus side they took my money really efficiently

Ordering from the website was easy what came next was very difficult, I ordered on the monday and the confirmation email was somewhat misleading stating 'please allow 1 working day to be processed' which led me to believe the item would be ready for the Wednesday, so due to this I booked the workers in for that day, costing me £100 labour, but in fact the items didn't arrive until the Thursday, which ment I had wasted a days labour. Understandably I was not happy with this and rang the branch, who was completely un-helpful and un-sympathetic. All this is a huge shame as I am currently renovating my property and was intending to use Laver's again, but unfortunately it has proven too costly.

The person who contacted me from the store was extremely helpful. However he said the delivery driver would deliver in the afternoon on the agreed day and that the driver would text me an hour before he arrived to let me know he was coming. The delivery driver actually arrived in the morning and did not send a text. Luckily I was at home.

My order has been done 2 weeks ago and I been told that my purchase will be ready to collect on the next week Wednsday.Unfortunately this was not done yet.Now we still waiting for your call back when is going to be ready to collect. This is the first time that we are so disappointed of the on line service.

Wasn't happy with the speed of the service. Order wasn't ready had to follow up with 2 phone calls to turn up to find out the order still hasn't been processed. Then had the guy on the counter moaning that I had ordered online
