Played this game many times at BG restaurants and on tabletopia, finally bit the bullet to play the single player which is an excellent game that plays completely differently to a multi game. An amazing game that although can look daunting to new players, has amazing depth and surprisingly easy to teach. Gets better with more players”

“I’d heard good things about this game and finally bought it for Father’s Day. The rules initially seemed a little intimidating, but it was actually very easy to set up and learn and so much fun to play! It has similarities to catan (in that you land on hexes that can produce resources), but it also has elements of risk (empire building), smallworld (fighting to keep your hexes) and ticket to ride (objectives to complete and building) and is so much more strategic. The whole family loved it. It says from age 14, but my 9 year old had no problems (and in fact almost won second time out). The artwork is gorgeous, the quality of the pieces is great and it’s quickly become a family favourite!”

“A genuine modern classic. Great strategy game with very little (if any) luck or chance. Plays differently with different numbers of players, along with an excellent solo player (automa) mode. A must have addition to any game collection.”
