“Order: #253223 I have rarely been speechless when I unboxed a board game. Scythe is the most polished and high quality production I have ever witnessed since getting into the hobby. Absolutely everything in the box (including the box itself) is high quality and polished. The game and its mechanics speak for themselves, but the final product is something to be enjoyed. More than worth the money and as usual Zatu delivered super fast and excellently packaged. Kudos to all.”

“Extremely well produced game. Scythe caused a huge fuss when it was released. It's very solid, but I'm not sure it deserves quite the manic hype it receives. I think Stonemeier games receive a lot of attention due to the production quality and excellent artwork. I'm not convinced they're as groundbreaking and genre-defining as everyone seems to think. Nonetheless a good game, and one I'm happy to own at last.”

“Scythe blew me away with how smooth the gameplay is and how well everything works together. From the action selections on your player boards, to moving around the map, fighting and upgrading the game is great. Despite the inclusion of huge mechs, Scythe is not primarily about fighting. Rather it is a race to a certain number of achievements. As the game goes on players will take wooden pieces from their player boards and place them out on the main board, often uncovering an upgrade for their units. It's an addictive gameplay loop and one that rewards repeat plays.”

“Scythe is not for a casual gamer. This is a great board game for players who like to take strategic choices, plan territory control, manage resources, construction, upgrades, (and sometimes combat)! As you can imagine there are plenty of rules and I love it! ORDER NUMBER: 5385734”
